A Trick for Timming on nProtect..

I've noticed that MANY people around have problems getting the correct timming to bypass nprotect...

So this is the trick I use to get the correct timming and you all who cant get it to work should try it until you're blue in the face:

Open mupiex and launch muonline and etc..

after nprotect updates, it will close, then authenticate, and close again..

now its the time to run the .bat, but when?

Well... keep watching the mouse cursor, when that little clock appears in the cursor is the right moment to run the .bat...

Everytime i run mupie i use that timming and it works, many of my friends use that timming too and it works just fine..

SO TRY IT !!! REMEMBER, WHEN THE CLOCK APPEARS ON CURSOR!

i did the bypassing method on someone elses computer and yet i couldn't do it on my own. every computer is diffrent so it's not that easy.

when i see hour glass (no pionter next to hour glass cursor) its too late for me to run the .bat.
so i made a bat wich tryes to replace the files 374 times as fast as PC can

i think u cant try it too early, cuz i've noticed that when u succeed on bypass nprotect, next time when u open mu, it updates only 3 files, while when u just run the bat and open it, it updates 6 files...
So i think that by waiting the clock, or hour glass thing, u wait for the pc to start using the few files that cant be overwritten or nprotect finds out....
Just try the hour glass thing.. Im sure it works, tried in like 3 pcs with different system specs..

You have problems with replacing the gamegaurdfiles before the game starts? Ive done it on a super fast computer and a really slow computer its REALLY EASY. I have enough time to click on gameoptions and apply on mupie...didnt think this was a huge problem

as yu can see i've tyed it hard, i've tyed it easy, i've tyed it smart, i've tyed it dumb, i've tyed it ALL, and still i get detected.
i need to know your system details and running game details

does your .bat replace all GG files? (run .bat in dos shell to check it ;))

i know where my problem was. i got in.
i coudn't get in because the time when i was suposed to run the bat file was while changing screen resulucion so i coudn't see the busy cursor at all

for some reason i can run the .bat file on xp without a problem but when i try running it on 98 it says files are in use or something like that.. any ideas?

hey men i try it...but i dont see any glass hour, somtimes i hack but somtimes i dnt coz the timing is hard for theres a time that after loading and authenticating it then presing the .bat it just too late for it...

the timing sucks somtimes too fast that even the .bat file dnt finish loading it..it runs directly

pls some tips on slowing the authenticating process and timing so that the .bat files can load at a period of time...

my bat files always says either 1 or 4 files updated only..

copy.bat works on win xp because it allows files to be copied even if errors occur..on win 98 its the exact reverse, it stops completely on error..so for u guys using 98 try using this..

//Copy these on ur notepad and name it copy.bat or wadever u want...
xcopy *.* /c /y [drive]:\[your Mu folder path]\gameguard\gameguard


//drive=drive letter where ur mu runs
//your MU folder path = self explanatory


this will copy files even if errors do occur on runtime..enjoy!

ok.. i got it working.... . but nprotect still detects the mupie... the copy.bat i created only managed to copy 9 files, 8 files could not be over written becoz it is in use... can anyone help me? izzit my timing wrong?
