This Is Guide Around Quest Bug In English Version

1) Download this:
ftp://muonline.nefficient.co.kr/pub/muonline/MU0_97y_full.exe
ftp://muonline.nefficient.co.kr/pub/muonline/MU0_98g_Tpatch.exe

(Download the patch to the English version. Current English version is now 98G so...MU0_98g_Tpatch.exe, but if 0.98i, then rename to
ftp://muonline.nefficient.co.kr/pub/muonline/MU0_98i_Tpatch.exe) etc etc....

2) Backup your old English MU before you uninstall to install the Korean version.
C:\Program Files\Webzen\Mu

3) Install 0.97 Full + Patch 0.98G

4) Overwrite files in new Korean with old ENG files shown in quest.jpg

5) Its okay now!! You can do the quest.

6) In the quest, talk to the lady in Davias, click all, keep clicking till window changes to obviously your quest has begun! (I think to begin, click the last option.)

7) You can accept then do the quest in the English version, but then you have to change it back to do the second quest.

lol no... quest is made to make ur char a second lvl 2 that can use more items and armor and wings...

elf--> Muse elf

DW-->Soul master

DK--> Blade knight

a MG can be used when one of ur char is lvl 220, than its availeble in char selection screen.

Followed everything in Guide, mu run but terminate with missing file error (interface & local folder) so i tried to rename the korean data\interface and local folder to and copy back the eng ver folder to make it run. it did but sox, that girl in davias wont talk to me. It says conversation is over to my DK LVL 163 and Ask stupid question to my ELF LVL 118 and disconnect me should I click the question line. :(

thnx for the guide, me a blade knight (about 30 mins) :surprised . However, here's something i think needs be added to the guide. Copy content of old interface folder and local folder to the korean version without overwriting anything (click "NO" to confirm prompt) just to supply missing files and prevent crash. :bunny:

after update as ur intruction i can play in korean version. but when i met the priest in davias i can click 2 times only. it is mean that my quest start? buy the way did u try to go to atlan coz in korean version i can see more 3 place that we can go i try to go atlan but when i enter i am back to the atlan gate maybe my lvl is to low i am lvl 139 and i have gaunlet with swimming ability too. :ermm:

I actually dont think it will work on private servers.. because you need to overwrite files from Global to the Private which are different :(
