Solution to problems running MuPie

Make sure the old NProtect files and .bat file are in their own folder.
- The folder must be places in Mu/GameGuard/
- The folder doesn't need any secific name
- The old NProtect files & the .bat file are located in the sticky in the technical
support forum.

Open MuPie

Dont change settings exept for hitcount if needed
- Click apply after changing

Launch MuPie

Launch MU

Wait for NProtect to open (I am reffering to the box in the top left of your screen)
- If it starts downloading files, wait for that to finish, it will close and open again (if not, proceed as though it had)
- After NProtect opens again and finishes and closes again (or opens and doesnt update, and closes again), get ready.
- After NProtect has opened in the corner and closed again and isn't going to open again, wait a second.
- When your computer starts loading, (maybe you will get timer cursor), and before it goes fullscreen, run the .bat file that you downloaded which is located in ...\MU\GameGuard\[folder]\[.bat file]


Its all about timing. You are best opening the .bat file halfway between when NProtect closes for the final time in the top left, and when the game goes fullscreen.
If you still have problems, post here and I'll see what i can do.

i have a problem... i follow exactly ur guide but... when screen blink, my screen resolution as setted to 800x600 (mu resolution) and when i press spacebar the game turn out... when i press alt+tab, a box show an error,...
what files not be copied ?

I think you need to get your timing right.... have a few practices. Another thing I find helps with a lot of problems with Windows is to simply restart your comuter. That is a lot more effetive than most people think for solving problems. Thats why a lot of computers are "not working", then a few days later, the owner turns it on and finds it working lol. Windows is like that. One day it works, another it doesnt.

Hey i got a problem ..could u help me pls ... i have windows98 ... i can use mupieX in windows xp(internet cafe) ... but in home i have windows98 ..then when i run .bat ... it copies only 2 files. ..and not the rest.. so i always get detected. .. i just want u to tell me y the bat dont copy all the files. .. help me plsssss.

if u only want to use mupie hitcount feature this is a sure shot.

Below the gamaguard directory ha a directory with only the 6 gameguard files its updates when u run main.exe and the bat file to copy them to the uper(gameguard) directory.

run the .bat file as soon as the grey(updating/checking) windows close for good (2nd checking).

If u look carefully it copies only 4 files, cause the mu application is allready/still using the others. but no problem there, with this three files mupie runs fine, just the minimizer dont work.

BTW I'm new to hacking, but a patch/crack to main.exe to execute a copy .bat file is that hard to do ? (ok its hard, but even for good hackers as there are arround here ?)

Instaling the router, shouldnt make any diference to you, except timing issues, for the addition of a new hop in your network.

please especify what kind of problems u have. what used to work and what doesnt work anymore.

for example if u cant get the minimizer, but mupie alone runs fine, welcome to my world - lol. I cant get the timing right, and when i do it hangs - lol

@likeit189: You could start by telling me what exactly about it doesnt work and what error messages appear in what program.

@ZaD: There is a problem with your computer... I'm not an expert, just a member of the forum trying to help, so the only advice I can think of is reboot your computer. You could also check the program's properties for any boxes checked or whatever that stop it running. Hope I helped




To everyone else... Usually the problem is just timing. You want to run the .bat file at the right time so that it replaces 3 files that gameguard would normally update. It doesn't matter what the thing sais about sharing violation, thats just the other files that don't matter about being replaced.

i always double click the bat file after n protect loads, but always game hack detetced. any way to help out here? usin win 98 com :ermm:

for windows 98 users:
to skip the files whit sharing violation error, put the line in .bat file:
xcopy /y /c *.* ../

but...
i try thousand times and it replace all files but 2, and i give a error... and do not enter the game, if anyone have windows 98 and run properly, please post it... sry for bad english...

Hitcount is for how much attack damage you want to do;
In simpler terms, how much attack damage you will do to a monster.

500 attack is the most.

i already pass the nprotect. but when i see 3 boats, i always got disconnected :(
i dunno why, but i try to 3 pc in my internet cafe, at the first time is work, but at the second time i try, i always got message "You disconnected from server" :(
