Falldistsafe?

OK where can i find Falldistsafe and falldistdeath. I found it in avp2l and i change the values to 1 and 0 but it screwed up the game and i had to reinstall it. Luckly all my hacks still worked. I guess u have to go into a diff folder but i dont know what that folder could be does anybody know?

Thoses values are used for health hack and also jump hack...wh do you need them ?

For the falldistsafe values and stuff look in the characterbutes folder... all u have to do is install the avp2 tools and go in the tools folder and double click unrez.... wait about 10 min. then go to the avp2 folder and go to attributes and then character butes... open it in notepad... press ctrl + f and type in falldistsafe and hit enter... then u use those values to search in tsearch.

lol not suppose to edit the .rez files. If you do your game looses resources with other servers.

The way i said does not edit the game resourses... u still use tsearch i showed him how to find the characterbutes folder in case he didn't know.

There is a secret to those values... just try and play around with them for a while ... if u figure out something u will be quite happy with the result.

Characterbutes isn't a folder, it's a text file. Found in the Attributes folder inside AVP2L.REZ. Download WinRez LT, then open up avp2l.rez, you'll see it inside there.

Yes, BUT you can no longer join a game unless that server changed the same things the exact same way you changed them. So best not to.

People edit the characterbutes file to make mods too so maybe that helps in making some sense with it all.

I made a mistake in that post, you can edit it but as long as you don't resave the AVP2L.REz with the new characterbutes file you'll be fine. If you test it that's all on you. You just won't be able to enter any games you find most likely.

If u play in avp demo u can edit ur chracter butes and join any server fine., no memory hacks needed

that's cool but very few people play the demo now... last time i checked there were about 2 servers.I edited a copy of my attributes file a while back and gave myself predator vision and abilities, more powerful weapons and stronger health but the 1096 update wouldn't let me online. (It worked fine in SP mode and in lan host mode.)

I suppose if you know someone who's an expert at C++ or assembly code, there's probably a way to defeat the crc checking and use it online.

The problem is finding someone that knows C++, my older bro does computer programming and software writing but never used C++ maybe if he ever does he'll teach me something about it then MAYBE i can help others if i get any good at it.
