well i was thinking about djing but most people ive met on irc hate rap with a passion and i have 1000+ rap mp3s on my computer and hardly nething else with exception of some LP and stuff if u all dont like rap i dont wanna waste my time/ mpc's time :)

I mainly like RnB,Soul and Jazz..something with feeling to it...some soft rock is ok..techno sucks..unless you young and take lots of 'E's' ..some heavy rock/metal stuff is ok to listen to once..if you in a shoot-em-up game and feel like doing damage..otherwise..yuk!...each to their own i say.....and as for the rap comments....isn't singing just rap with a harmony..? :lick: lol ..some rap mixed with soul singers is good..gangsta rap sucks ass..unless u a wannabe enimem geezer who thinks he is hard and wants to act tuff in front of his friends..lol..( ok i said enough..)...peace

**** rap. **** fifty cent and his gimmick o i got shot 12 ****in times. who cares! rap is meaningless, o wow im a pimp im cool now well add some profanity and boom instant hit. rap is just a conformation of how stupid people are, they buy into anything even if it has no meaning. yes there is good rap out there with meaning but im sure not many listen to it.
One exception in the sensless rap part- the beastie boys you have to love them. i mean common, came out b4 stupid jkwan or who ever or whatever his name is, and are still popular and will be better.
all i listen to is punk, ska, jazz, and maybe a tiny bit of metal (not just the senseless screaming type)

But these days ive been listening to more undergroup rap than anything..

I like a mixture of music and genres, ranging from Pop Rock (i.e. Wheatus/All American Rejects) and Punk (e.g. Greenday, Rancid) all the way through the scale to Gothic Rock/Metal with such bands as Nightwish and Cradle of Filth. To be honest, if there is a good guitarist(s) in the band, I'll like them!

Rap.. hrm, some of its listenable but I dont believe there is as much talent in most of that kind of music as there is in a band playing and making guitars "talk" in the way they do.. Thats just my 2 cents though. Peace
