Easy Way To Change Ur Ip If U Have Dsl

This is for people who have gotten ban from servers or anything else that bans ur IP

Well frist off you GOTTA have DSL doesn't matter what kinda Company it from.


it is the most simplest thing. frist look at the back of ur modum there should be a off switch on the back of it. turn it off then after 15 sec wait turn it back on then your IP is Change!

EX: Frist IP: 69.342.31.1 (Turn off Turn Back on) Now the IP is: 69.43.31.3

Hey that's good to know.....what I did is I unhooked everything like the wires and stuff and I waited awhile..but your way seems much better..thanks for letting us know how the easy way can be done :-)

It never occured to me..like I said I read on some other post that you unplug everything..which is hooked to the DSL modem and then wait and the attach everything..lol ok so I guess you could say I didn't know the power switch on and off for 10 seconds and it'd change :-P

there are many different ways to do it some work for for some people other work for other people...for instance that method wont work if you have a linksys (or anyother kind i think) router

get a nic card then a modem then a wireless router then u can have one with one ip then one with another like me 3 ip's

disconnecting from internet and connecting again works for. No turning off modem. My modem is getto and if I turn it off I have to restart the computer for it to work again.

what about if you have a usb modem? anybody have one of those? :Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem
