View Full Version : MY COMPUTER FOLDERS Do not work!!! help pls

for last 5 days my computer folders do not work i click on them and the sandglass comes up but it goes away and the folder does not open.....and its been 5 days so the computer restore is not going to help since it only saved it from 3 days back.
these do not work
-My computer , My Documents (my folders)
- Internet Explorer (kind of a folder also)
- Control Panel (kind of a folder also)
ANY SOLUTIONS? i hate this problem
only one ive come to that i cant solve....=\
K HELP HELP HELP PLS
I AM RUNNING WIN XP btw

never heard of this AV, but i'm scorin it right now, to test her out, since i've been running bare. But yeah man, you probably have a virus/trojan/worm

dude you probably got a viurs or a trojan infected in your computer.Download a Anti Virus program and if that still does not work Reinstall Windows

Like others said scan for viruses first but I would also do an overall cleaning. Look here http://www.mpcforum.com/showthread.php?t=51372.

my virus scanner didnt find any virus......norton nirus scanner...fully updated ...:(

new update on my problem
i scanned with housecall trend online virus scanner and i got 8 virus all UNcleanable....
damn symantec/norton has bad update (i paid for suscription)

Delete the files that are uncleanable. (make sure they're not critical system files) Maybe you could post of screenshot of your online virus scan results.

kaspersky has a free trial....you can use it to see what viruses it detects then google to find ways to get rid of them.

hmm my dad bought a new virus scannner......macffe and all virus are gone K thx
