Need Help Internet Again

Hi all i need help again with my internet

When ever i go onto a php nuke site it stops my internet from working and i have to unplug then wait 10 sec then plug back in my black cable in my cable box.

Not juts on phpnuke sites tho sometimes it just does it when its loading a site or busy etc. but every time on phpnuke it stops.

also this only happens on my accont, but i dont want to make a new accont as i cant get some things 2 work e.g admins control (managerment etc)

also i cant put them little icons in my taskbar.

Please help me with my internet prob, you will get free cookies! :confused:

With all the problems you've been having I would suggest a CLEAN INSTALL. But if you don't want to go through that then here's some possibilities:

1.you have spyware/browser hijack/malware-> Download spybot here (http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022-10289035.html?tag=lst-0-2) and ad aware here (http://www.download.com/3001-8022-10214379.html). Once you install MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE THEM to catch all the latest threats.

2.you have a virus-> once again MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE your antivirus program. Run a full system scan and check the quarantine.

3.try a alternate browser to see if it has the same problem. I would suggest firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/firefox) or maxthon (http://www.maxthon.com/en/index.htm).

4.your ISP is messed up-> check all connections and contact you internet service provider

Since you say this only happens under your account I would say #1 is the most plausible. For example a malware program running as part of YOUR startup. If you could post a taskmanager screenshot with the processes when your internet stops working that might be helpful.

As for your quicklaunch, I assume you have it enabled? (right-click taskbar->properties->show quicklaunch) Also make sure lock taskbar is unchecked. Now stretch out your quicklaunch area and try dragging a desktop icon down there.

OK thanks is they any ways i can delete my accont but put all my files not settings on the other one? i am the only admin onthe computer to see, and when i made a new accont for admin i didnt have the admin tools :/ and also didnt no how to do the icon in my taskbar ^^ but you just fixed that i think.


EDIT : I think Aware mite have done it i didnt no aware didnt update itself and updated it and it found errors that i hav never seen it find before, not just the cookie 1's.

On the non-working picture you stated that the status lights turn off, that sounds like more of a hardware/isp problem then your system. Status lights on your NIC? router? modem?

I have made a new accont so i hope i have fixed it, i will let you no how it goes.
