Hey this question is for people who have done unqiue things with lights before and I want to know if this can be done and how. I know how to do lights and other stuff with a desktop PC but I will be switching over to laptop soon. I digressed. What I want to do is put a neon light, cathode, etc... in the back of the laptop inside so that the light comes out of the fan area. Another area where I've though it might work too is in the speaker area and getting light to emit from there. I realize that the cathode might block ventalation in the laptop and the speakers I have no idea but I was wondering if someone can help me out with opinions or methods they have used before. It's just some project I want to do to make my laptop look unique to most. Thanks.

BTW-I have not gotten the laptop yet.

You could build a small circuit with some leds I suppose, I doubt you could fit a CCFL in there...you could also try some neon string.

Yeah the small circuit is something I'd have a problem setting up since I wouldn't know what to hook it up to in the laptop. The neon string is something I'm unsure about since it has an inverter. (most do that I look at) Anyone know how big the neon string inverter is?
