PB GUID hooking

Hi ,

Anyone been busy with this before ? I'm looking at it and it looks really simple , it's like a CRC based on hardware in machine. If anyone has been looking at it before , please post your findings so we don't have to invent the wheel again.

hacking the hardware id is pretty easy yeah. A m8 of mine did it easilly, ill ask him how he did it exactly. But a GUID is just binded to ur cd key... so nothing to hack about it actually... :\

Let's assume you login with your usual CD key and normal valid GUID , and then before you join a game you decide to accidentally change your GUID ( with a hotkey dll wrapper ) so if that GUID gets punkbusted it's a fake guid ... ?

i dunno about that 1, but im sure its possible to change the mac addy adress that way.
But changing GUID is pretty dangerous imo. They can just simply make a compare code that will compare what the original guid should be with the cd key u are using and the one ur game loads with...

The MAC addy you can manually change in the registry database, soo easy.

If you mean spoofing your GUID i would say thats impossible because PB would kick for having no CDkey binded to that GUID or vice versa.

well if PB can look up cdkeys.... :)
