Ok, now I have tmk and TSearch and I fully understand them. Is there a way that I can use them to edit the packets that Quake2 sends? If not is there a seperate program I can use?

yeah, t-search is a memory searcher, you need a packet editor to do these things,
tmk is simply to make the .exe

uhh >_>, guess you guys didnt konw packet editing did more than crashgion servers....... You CAN use WPE Pro with windows XP; check http://fly.to/mtc for the newset version of WPE... if you cannot find a tutorial on how to use it somewhere on MPC, let me know and ill make one....... FYI WPE can be used to not only filter packets, but also to replicate // spoof packets. Unfortunitally the only way to make a trainer for this would be to use the filters and to save the filters, then reload them every time you played the game....

The source for quake2 is GPL'ed, you don't need a packet editor....LOL. A good amount of servers have the bug fix which prevents stealing the server passwords (and there isn't a backdoor for ID to use anymore since they gpl'ed the code).
