Mod plz check arcade for suspicious scores...

Well, i hate to play the narc, but it seems to me that poohcola918 has posted some unattainable scores in the arcade...
specifically, but not alone, Aim & Fire; his score makes no sense... and so many high scores in succession makes me wonder.... anyway, plz check it out mod....

also, his score AND towlie's on Ants are both screwy....

Just so you know, the 14 pages of games in the arcade are sorted alphabetically by title (thank u whoever did that), except for a couple stragglers at the end. I know this is prolly petty stuff for mods, u guys spend alot of time on mpc and prolly dont get enough thanks for it.
Still, i feel i did my part and if thats not enough then so be it.... Im not the arcade police, and frankly im feeling that my input on the subject is unwelcome.... If cheating isn't allowed in the arcade, then it's going to take some effort to enforce it, otherwise just let ppl cheat or remove the arcade altogether....
I'm sure ill come around and calm down eventually after a couple of cold ones and pm u the links, but right now i feel silly for caring....

i understand ur point, and frankly, given the reaction i got for pointing out obvious cheats, i tend to feel that having the arcade high scores is pointless.... (srry, the 2 cold ones didn't help, maybe i'll try two more....)

if i were to debate the topic of cheating in the mpc arcade on the side of not allowing cheats i would make the following points:

1. the arcade games are NOT multiplayer games....
2. cheating on the arcade games serves no purpose, except to prove you can.... cheating in arcade games is like an auto-shoot aimbot...sure you own ur opponents, but whos gonna play against u???
3. what is the point of having high scores in the first place if someone can manipulate the game and insert an outrageously large score, only to have the next guy come along and insert a larger one?
4. where does it end....obviously when someone discovers the largest number that the score variable can handle...
5. oh, by the way, PPL WOULDN'T ACTUALLY BE PLAYING THE GAMES!

im not anti-cheat, im pro rules... if the MPC rule is no cheating in the arcade, then it should be abided by and enforced... just like every other rule in MPC.... if not, then there is no point for the arcade having a high score list...

if you still disagree then:
1. why shouldn't MPC allow ppl to hack their post count
2. why shouldn't MPC allow ppl to hack into others posts and change them
3. why shouldn't MPC allow ppl to link to illegal warez and copyrighted materials..
4. why shouldn't MPC allow ppl to post whatever they want; spams, flames, porn...

sometimes rules serve a purpose....

1. thats not hacking.. thats editing..
2. because they didnt write it, therefore shouldnt be allowed to touch it. and if you mean hacking into the server and doing it, thats illegal, which would get this site shut down.
3. because its illegal and would get MPC shut down.
4. because spam/flame is annoying and providing porn to those who are under the legal age is illegal..

of course u realize i was posting those questions in an attempt to highlight my opinion that cheating in arcade games is a 'rules' issue and not an 'cheat/AC' issue and I in no way meant to suggest they were the right thing to do....
