I only played the first shogun, loved it. didnt get a chance to play the expansions though. No, never tried Medieval, but if it isnt as good as you said, I guess it wasnt a bad thing that I didnt touch it. This one I'll definately get.. cant wait ^.^

This look's like the same game they used on a TV programme over here in the UK where they recreated historical war's and a group of people had to plan there attack's and stuff, i could be wrong but it look's a lot like it.

Aye? 2nd Mission? Take over the settlement? I think they provide you with a .. err.. what issit called, some projectile firing thingy. aim it at the gates and it'll be open after a couple of shots.
Took me a while to finish prologue....... O_O
I'm pretty sure it'll take me a while to finish the game.. Wont be playing it much.. still wasting too much time on it even when I use auto-calculate on most battles.. it sucks the fun out of it -_-;

Hmm.. I think the trainer for money is easy to make too... I wont bother at the moment, and will wait for VF's. (Unless VF doesnt get it soon, and someone requests) My computer lags sooo much playing it.. i lost the motivation to play battles and just use auto-calc now.. since loading battles take such a long time.. and when I end turn, it takes up to 2 mins for all the AIs to make their moves.. sad. Slow computer in Imperial campaign.. but still, I'm loving it! :x

@Nightmare, something wrong with your game, left click on unit, right click on gate. That's all? You can even set the boulders on fire and then fire them.. wahahaha..

Not to rain on your parade VF, but a money hack already exists. I'm not sure if it's clean, but it exists.

Like I said before, the existing moneyhack my mmDoX isnt very reliable. VF, I'm sure you can make one that actually change the 'actual' value, and not just the look of it. mmDoX's shows +value, which enables you to build stuff, and bribe, and others, but, once your REAL money goes into negative, you cant bribe people.

Yes, something like fast construction will be useful, I mean, a trainer for it. I dont want to mod it, since every other faction will be the same. Same thing goes for fast recruit.

I havent play it for a while, I probably wont be playing it till later (ie, a few months)

I played it today for the first time , i got time for it just today.I did sth cool.No cheat.My city was sieged by an army.I got my orangers attack the hopplites and from the first shot they killed the enemy general!!!!Lol!Completely pwnage.Do you think that you can make sth like autoaim or sth?That's beyond my skills however , i just wonder if you can make an autoaim hack...It would be fun ;).Hopefully i will work on the trainer tomorrow.I wanna release it soon so i will just cheat the gold for starters ;)

I would recommend you do the gold first as well, since personally I think that would be the easiest to hack. Get mmDox's and try it, you will see it's heavily flawed in a sense.

As time is passing according to the manual which i just read , a character appears in the game , i dont recall his name.After his appearance the roman military units are upgrading to something bigger and stronger.It doesnt clear out what they become but iam sure that it is great.A good cheat idea will be to enable that mode from the very first time game starts...

So, does anyone have any updates? I was messing around and found out that you can edit your empire and your troops/generals through one file, which is located in : x:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\Data\world\maps\campaing\imperial_campaign\des cr_strat.txt

Just so you guys dont get confused, the max EXP you can set for your troops is 9, the most armour is 9, the weapon_lvl is 5. Have fun!

by the way, you can also choose to play with an empire that is currently non-playable just by transfering it's name to the "playable" list. Have fun! Gonna go try those Urban Cohorts from SPQR woot

I know this isnt VF, but someone released a trainer on actiontrip that gave you money, but not like the first one, this one actually gives you money when you buy stuff so you just keep buying stuff and getting money. It actually works, and you dont get those nasty negative profits in your End of Turn Report....

dont thank me, thank my curiosity for the files :P . My suggestion for a fun and challenging game is to try and play as one of the barbarians, like germania or gaul. You'll be amazed at how good thousands of mercenaries are :P. I'm almost at rome with my germanic army, muahaha!

: turn hack ( best if the spy can move 8 regions within a turn)
: senate mission hack ( best if there is some hack that can remove or complete senate mission without any trouble b4 senate kept sending ppl to check on ur factions)
