Need Help With Packet Editor

hey PPL i'm new to all the packet editing and i want to packet-edit a multiplayer game with no encrypted packets i want to add more money in the game
so what i did is:

-started a 1 on 1 game and at start u get 2000 money so i started logging the packets from the game with WPE

-lost some money and got 1506 so i stopped logging and now i tured 1506 in decimal into 5E2 in hexadecimal so i searched for 05 E2 in the logged packets and i got no findings :(

so am i doing something wrong??

if u understand plz help me i really need ur help... 10x!

The Error can come from that the moneys is serverside !

i also did this while i was the host so my pc is the server and yet i still don't find the money value

Serverside means the value is coming from the server that is letting you play
