Makeing Halo Trainer For PC

I am a nOOb at makeing a Halo Trainer for PC and stuff, and I wanted to know if someone can tell me how to make it work? I did the easy stuff like makeing the buttons, but now how to I get the cheat part so it works when ever I press the button, then it activates my cheat? I want to make it so I have Unlimited ammo for a test to let me know im on the right track.
