Detecting a hack/Guid/Cd Key ... etc.

I have a few questions about detection and what a server logs (ie.guid/cd key/etc.) and what can actually happen to the online gaming experience.

1) If i was kicked , PB detected the game hack , and they got my guid which they turned over to PunksBusted ..... is the GUID enough for them to globally hardware ban me ??????
.............. Is the GUID that the server got ONLY linked to the cd key and/or is the GUID directly linked to my hardware ?????

2) For JO , if i was to go buy a NEW copy would this change my GUID (if this is soo obviously the GUID is only linked to the cd key) or if i bought a new copy and started a new account at NoVa , with the new key , will i have a new GUID ????

Hope this all makes sense , basically you should be able to get the just of my post.
Got banned from a server and they got my guid and they sent it into PBed and they said ".... when PB puts your GUID on their master list youll be globally banned from ever playing a multiplayer game that runs PB for good."

ibelive in Jo its lined via your cd key in aa it was diffrent they used hadware because its free

Yeah, isnt teh guid, a combo of the cd key and numerous other identifying things, plus i think they log your HW serials everytime you join a game

Ok , so by turning this in they can add it to some master list and ill be Globally Banned ............ possibly eventually a Hardware Ban ????

From what I've read as long as the hack does not mess with pb files you can't get guid banned. So if a hack blockes pb ss's or something like that, pb will guid ban you.

Ok but noone has really answered the most important part ........ Is this GUID specific only to me with ANY copy of JO i buy ????? ...... and if it is the only GUID i get can they globally ban me and/or use it towards a hardware ban ????

if you get guid banned in jo, it bans that cd key, if you buy another copy it will work. Hardware ban is only in aa because it's free.

Now admins of servers may see ss's of you cheating and pass on that list to other admis that may ban you also. But I'm sure you could never be banned off the nova servers.

like Rvshackz says, a GUID ban is fixed when u buy a new cd key.

Hardware ban can be fixed by changing ur mac addy adress and stuff.

Closing this thread before cd key discussions are turning out, what is illegal on mpc.
