thoughts on the expansion pack?

i was thinking about picking up the expansion pack today. anyone have any thoughts on it?? also, is it a stand alone expansion or does it require the full game?

its an awesome game, picked it up abotu 4 hours ago and still havent tried single player yet... the new guns even out the teams :bunny:

damn its worth if just for the extra maps, never mind the increased game-play,

its simple people create these games for our pleasure,
the least we can do is buy them

if we want more great games like cod,

.30 caliber is arlight, its not very used in the game, and its hard to kill enemies because you have to set it up, but if you like and have the patience to camp, it will be a good time

so far seen the 50 cal used mostly in hq,

as a defence on the radio, get to a good position, and just kill em all,

still think the kar is no1 :)

still think its a bit lame, with the new FREE maps,
"Free they were designed by normal mod makers"

they added lots of free maps to the expansion,
rather than making proper new maps,

best bit is the new weapons on the old maps,
also like the ranking system,

this is just a cheap way for them to make sum more money on
an already over killed game,

Even if they used a bunch of free maps, the vehicles/new game types/new weapons are amazing and are worth $27 anyday. They also have 13 new single player missions.
In conclusion to killzar:
I dont think this was a cheap way of getting more money, I think this is a well made expansion.

Uhm look at the new game types too.. Kursk, Sicilian map.. you can't tell me those weren't "proper maps"

It's the best expansion since LoD for Diablo II and well worth every penny. Whereas standard CoD is based mostly on hunting and killing, UO incoporates an ample amount of strategy where it is desperately needed.

to anyone out there not sure about this expansion pack i would say buy it.the new weapons alone are fantastic my faves are(gewehr 43 and tokarev svt-40)if you buy it you will not be dissapointed!the ai seems to have been tweaked the explosions are great and hey drive a tank U KNOW U WANNA!all in all my best bought game of this year i wonder what they will make next?maybe call of duty vietnam lol hey who cares they got my money now lets get out there and kill smfs hehehehe ;) :P :bunny:

sorry for asking this guys but i thought i would ask this very silly question.the old cod that we all love well the maps out there that we all downloaded!can they be crossed over to united offensive folder?or do we have to wait for the people out there that make maps? :confused:

I think you have to wait for new maps, now I might be wrong, but when starting your old server.. can you pick from the old COD maps as well? If so, you may be able too.

supz...erm i gotta a question : first of all do u use the same cd key from the original CoD ..or do they provide a new one with United Offensive?,....cuz i am buying United Offensive......so i just wanna kno if u use the same CD key from CoD or if they provide a new one with UO :bunny:

But, I do have some good news! UO comes with its own individual key so yo don't have to worry about PunkBuster.. Etc.

hello guys..I need your help firstly what i must do for random shot and secondly i dont know how can enable the cheats from the console if i type sv_cheats"1" it tells me sv_cheats is read only....thanks!!!!!
