evilhack source (sorry if i'm ****in up)

first off, sorry, i doubt this thread should be here. what i want to do is take evilhack's source and expand on it like everybody else :) problem is, i can't find the evilhack source. i've searched high and low on mpc for the last hour and I haven't found the actual source. so since i'm asking for source, how bout i elaborate and ask for something compatible with 2.1. any takers? please give me a WORKING link if you have one.

i'm having trouble wrapping my fat head around c++ file structures, link.exe, etc. i'm a bit more accustomed to vb's all-inclusive project file... what do i need to do to just compile evilconfig into a runnable program? i've tried building/executing evilloader.cpp and evilconfig.cpp.... sparks, but no fire, anyone care to break it down for me?

What compiler are you using? link.exe, are you using a console compiler?
