painkiller is a source ( a very good and helpful one ) provided by a excellent coder called Morgan, who was very good at what he did, program

its a good source for viewing at, if your in the intermediate level of EH Source understanding

but what does the basic painkiller offer and what does the basic EH offer, becouse i am interrested in starting to make my own (currently downloading Visual Studio .net 2003, hope it works) and i'd like to make my own personnal haks =D. so tell me, what is in the basic EH or painkiller and how can i add/delete/modify things.

well dude, to be honest i will go for the EH source in the v1.x.x stuff, then once you know c++ and understand what that source does, move onto BC23a, then if you manage to understand that, try mixnmatching them for a cool effect/effects, then go on to morgan's which has preloaded tweaks and stuff

Hopefully you guys wont mind me requesting a tutorial, but I know some of you take out walls and things within the hex coding for the maps. I was just wondering if someone could write up a tutorial to add/remove things in maps. Hopefully this isn't in one of the tutorials posted. I would greatly appreciate anyone who would take the time to do this.

Thx for giving link to my thread about download link for vs studio .net 2005 products. But I think it should be renamed to "Visual Studio .NET 2005 Express BETA 1" to avoid little confusion. Mentioning beta is necessary.

IlleLogical for me public hacks are best and I don't feel any requirement of private ones. For me public ones are enough.
