the file...it makes a server called GNET in your battlenet directory. So you can connect to it and make online Warcraft 3 games and such. Its great, and it works. Since the game doesnt come out till Thursday retail, it gives Warcraft 3 owners the chance to play online till then. Or, after then if they choose not to buy the real product haha.

You can use Kali as long as you name the custon game Warcraft 3 and conect to the most recent server tracker

why does wc3 always say "invalid battlenet server" when i try the pureevil server? then again, the official blizzard 1s say "invalid cd key."

if there's no luck then i might as well buy the game :0)

nm guys i got it to work
for anyone else who has that problem, goto that link post and dl the optional program and add the server to the registry (save it). it should work then.

Use this document to get kali, what it does it set up a fake LAN game for multiple games. Works like a treat with w3.

Instructions enclosed.

If i try to start war3patch102.exe, the error-message:

Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath'

comes up. Ok i have Ripped version of warcraft 3 and no w3 regs. Anyone could give me all his w3 regs. Couse then i could edit it and that patch would work. Please gimme regs of non original version, which doesn't use a bought key.
