does anyone know how they're encoded? I'm talking about the .dat files in the maps directory. I for one am not satisfied with the current low res maps which are distorted somewhat and cause you to either get stuck and not know why or end up underwater. If anyone knows how to encode them i'll make a better set and post them here. :bandit:
