i extracted all the files in CS:S root folder (btw, i don't have a legit HL/CS:S game...)
did all my in-game settings, copied the .dll files in system32, ticked the options i wanted then picked hl2.exe - START

If you have "that" version of the game, then you still just search for hl2.exe. When you look in your task manager the only thing that shows up is hl2.exe, and not css.exe. Good luck hope that works :)...

EDIT- nevermind, I just tried it and it doesnt work. Dunno what to do now :(

To get it working i just copy the 4 MS dll's to windows\system32 folder (i also leave them in the same folder as the IcT Dx.exe loader). I start the IcT loader, select my options (XQZ Wallhack, Skin hack, Clock and Crosshair) and click 9.0c for Direct X version and then i click the START button on the hack.

Now the hack is waiting to inject, so i double click on my CS:Source desktop icon as normal (the icon uses this : D:\CounterStrike\hl2.exe -steam -console -game cstrike with no ""'s) and it injects and runs perfectly. Then ingame i just use the usual INSERT key to play about with the many options. Also sometimes you "Steam Ticket" expires so the game can sit there after u launch it doing nothing, so what i do is load up Steam and log into it, then close steam down again (right click on the black steam icon in your tray and select Exit) and launch the game as normal.

It works by changing the CT's and Terrorist skins to Blue (CT's) and Red (Terrorists).. combine it with the wallhack and u can see them for miles :)

Everything works for me except a menu, but i I choose what I want in the pre-setup everything works. The only thing is I can still get flashed!

Okay I got it to work, but I don't have an in game menu either.

Also, I don't have any CS crosshairs and I have to use the crosshair on the hack. I don't like the big red crosshair so is there a way to change that or at least have the CS:S default crosshair?

Also my radar is gone as well, is there a way to get that back?

Also for those who can't get it to work. I got it to work. If it says injection failed and all the settings are correct, then instead of running the hack, then clicking start and running CS:S try running CS:S before you click start, then once the engine is loading it should work.

It's a bit tricky, but it worked for me and WONT work for me if I start the hack before running CS:S. So try doing that, especially if you have the cracked version of CS:S as that is what I use.

Did you change your shading and what not to low? Perhaps DX8 cannot be used when on medium or high if you forgot to switch that.

I get failed if I run the hack before I run CS:S, if I run the hack right after I run CS:S and start it, then it succeeds. Do you have a IcT Dx Log.txt? Post what's in there if you do. I'm also running SP2, but that shouldn't really matter. If it's failing to inject, either something is wrong with your DX, or it's not injecting correctly. In which case, try starting the hack after you run CS:S.

Okay I been testing a bit, it seems no flash only works when no fog, and no smoke is on, I turned those off and I got my default crosshair back but flashes still flash. Once I turned on no smoke and no fog my crosshairs were lost but no flash worked.

Also, if you're going to turn off no crosshair, then turn off no scope as well otherwise you'll have no crosshair for scoping.

I'm sure it varies with each computer and what not..and definiely a good job on parses's part for making this in the first place. I don't think people appreciate you doing it.

If you can though, try to work out the flash and crosshair thing. The injection being failed is definitely not on your part, it's the people and their computers. I even went to a buddies and told him to try to work it, and he couldn't then I did it and it did...So I assume the people with injection failing are missing something.

i'm having all the same issues... injection failed..

i tried undefined's fix... and it injected successfully.. but the hacks didn't show up. Same thing happened on a friend of mine's pc.. seems odd considering the first version of this worked perfect for me and not for him.. not the new one doesn't work for either of us.

All you people that say the menu doesn't show up, it's becuase you probably have a 800x600 playing resolution. What you need to do is open up the Config.ini file and adjust the Menu X / Menu Y CVARs :)

OK, I went back to SP1 and it works now, altho I have to do a strange little ritual every time I play CSS to get it to work...oddest thing ever. Altho the wallhack still doesn't work for me even with the settings in the readme, it might be a driver setting that's causing this, I'll have to fiddle around with it.

Calm down, all that dont the, *LEGIT* Version of CS:S, this is what i did to inject it correctly. As soon as the black MSDOS pops up, i inject at that time. Make sure you got DirectX9.0C and ur screen resolution is higher then 800X600. This is workin perfectly fine for me. This hack is the best! If you make aimbot for this, youl be god!

Heh It's really sick, it looks like there are 2 options for me :
- either it's saying "injection failed" and the game isn't starting
- either it's "injection successful" when the steam engine is loading up, but the game isn't starting

Yes, I've done everything as it was told here and in the readme.
The previous version gave me "injection successful" a few times (randomly), but it wasn't giving anything except the crosshair and no flash (couldn't bring up the menu).

And it works perfectly fine, as soon as i see the MSDOS window, i inject and says succsefull. and everything works for me. Hey parseFloat heres an idea, maybe you should wallhack the bombs aswell. Gets annoying in some games wit no radar runnin around lookin for the damn bomb when the person who has it dies. Make the bomb a real bright color like yellow or something. Would be nice.

I have two machines I tried this on both trying two different cracked versions of CS:S and both have different graphics vendors. One with GT6800 NV of course and the other with ATI 9700 pro mobile. Both throw same error. I have done everything to a T describe in the readme file so that is not the problem.

Ok, for you (seems like most of you) that are using the ******* version, here are the steps (thanks to my friend for letting me test on his computer):

1. Open up IcT Dx.exe and configure all your settings
2. Press the "Start" button and it should now say in the grayed out box "Looking for " whatever the name of your CS:S .exe is
3. Don't press that button again becuase as you notice it says "Abort" and that will stop the process finding.
4. Next, open up your CS:S shortcut, and have the loader in view.
5. A second (or less) after the DOS window shows up, the hack should be injected. At that time, if you look at the loader, it should say injection succesful. If it doesn't, you did something wrong.

NOTE: DO NOT PRESS START AFTER YOU HAVE OPENED THE CS:S SHORTCUT, DO IT BEFORE YOU OPEN THE LINK!

This has an option for DX9.0c, why? I don't see an option for it and HL2 is "optimized" for radeon's. I thought the game had to be programmed to work with DX9c, why would they do that if they were partnered with ATI?

Can you explain here what you did to get the wallhack to work? It might help some people who had the same problem as you did :) Also, for no flash, open up the menu and you should see "No Flash". Enable it and you will be set to go.

i think the problem is that the game doesnt save the mat_dxlevel 80 after you exist, so the hack hooks into the game when it uses dxlevel 70.
try fitting it to 70

It works for me ONLY after I click start after the MS-DOS window comes up loading the Steam engine. So perhaps people can try that. If I click start before clicking the CS shortcut, the injection fails.

ALSO, in order for me to stay on DX8.0 I had to manually add "mat_dxlevel 80" to my config.cfg(located in cstrike/cfg/config.cfg) as everytime I typed "mat_dxlevel 80" in console and saved, it reverted back to the previous setting. So if you're having issues with the wallhack or something try that.

What video card are you using? Since those three things in particular could be all dependent on your video card.

Not sure if 'no flash' is dependent on video card, I don't believe it is, so it would work.

Also for those who don't get the radar, I was able to get it back if I typed cl_radartype "1" this basically makes the radar less transparent, so it shows up. So now I have a radar while using the hack.

If the radar is too solid you can mess with the opacity of it by puting cl_radaralpha "100". I believe default is 300, so 100 makes it pretty transparent.

I did what all you guys told us but mine just does nuting i tried injecting it before and after i double-clicked on the cs:s shortcut and when i am in cs:s and i alt+tab and go to the hack it just stays there grey and i use a crack version by Lucifer (or whatever i 4got how to speel it)

The only time I can get injection succesful is when I launch hl2exe first, the ms dos box appears, and I hit start several times to get process found then injection succesful. Or If I start up hl2.exe load a game, alt + tab out, load ict dx and hit start, injection succesfull straight away, but I go back in game and hit INSERT it does nothing.

I have the feeling that it just does not inject succesfully for anyone who is running Windows XP Service Pack 2. This is most likely the case.
parseFloat, are you able to release an update which would support SP2 if it is the cause of the problem? I bet every body would be able to get a succesful inject, running SP2 with cracked version of CSS or not!

Okay people, it WORKS on SP2, I'm using SP2 right now, and my friend is as well and the hack works on both our systems, so you must be doing something wrong as it's not a service pack problem...or at least it shouldn't be unless my computer and my friends are somehow an exception.

3PF, I'm running the same video card, so you got to be doing something wrong, I have no idea what...but it's something.

As for the guy saying the hack has some flaws and needs re-work or something? Just because people are having problems doesn't mean the hack has flaws. Everyone has different computers, different video cards, different drivers, etc. AND a lot of people misread or can't correctly follow the read me.

If you guys need help, you should maybe post as much info as you can, so you can get help...and try to type use some punctuation and grammar. I don't know about Parse, or anybody else, but it's kind of hard to help someone if you can't even understand what they are saying.

CSS Source Cracked ******* with UPDATE#2 patch (recently released)

I have all settings accordingly to the readme and mat_dxlevel 80..
All dll's copied to system32 and also in the ict dx folder.
So basically, I pick direct x 9.0c as I have it installed (dxdiag shows me this) and pick what options I want in the hack, I pick all of them. I click start, and leave it on hl2.exe as my executable file.
So I load hl2.exe, it opens steam engine ms dos box window, as it would for anyone else with the crack and it says process found, then injection failed straight away. What could be the cause of this problem? I have followed *all* instructions.

Ok.....since so many ppl are needing help i might as well. Im sure this hack works for everyone, go thru these steps
1.make sure no custom models
HAVE .net framwork installed
2.Change video setting according to readme,make sure u do mat_dxlevel 80
3.If u have cracked version, open hack and select cheats.Open hl2.exe and click start when Dos window shows up, it should say suscessful, if not its prob you, not the hack
4.When u get the hack to load and ur in game, make sure video settings are still at the readme setting

If this doesnt work for you, then most likely its you dats doing something wrong

I'm using the lucifer version, which uses cstrike.exe (hl2.exe doesn't work)

and I -can't- get an injection succesful no matter what I do. I did everything right, and I'm using sp2.

For those of you using the cracked veriosn and can't get it to inject, try this. Go into the crack directory, copy the HL2.exe from there to the main directory, go ahead and overwrite it even if you already have the cracked exe there. Do NOT run CSS yet. Run the hack, click start, then click your shortcut.

For me here is how it works. If I play CSS then I can NOT inject successfully without replacing the hl2.exe with an...um.. "fresh" one. It seems that every time I run the HL2.exe I MUST replace it with an "untarnished" one. It makes NO sense at all why this would work, but it works perfectly for me now.

Step 1. Start CSS and follow the steps in the readme for settings.
Step 2. Close out CSS
Step 3. Copy the cracked .exe from the /crack directory and overwrite
Step 4. Load hack, click start.
Step 5. Run your hl2.exe -steam -game cstrike shortcut.

Once you inject successfully and you exit CSS you MUST copy the .exe from the /crack directory and overwrite the hl2.exe in the main directory EVERY time you want to play CSS with the hack. Sounds like some sort of weird voodoo BS, but it worked on both of my PCs.

OK Mates, here is my Fix for Injection Failed.

Oh edit: The weirdest thing fixed my problem. I just renamed my CSSource dir to Counter-Strike_Source_FINAL_READ_NFO-*******. As Mystique's solution helped me to fix mine. Then update steamapp cfg to locate your new source destination. lol. weirdest solution ever.

Ok so, I got it to inject succesfully, It finally works.
Everything works except no flash doesn't seem to work and XQZ wallhack does not work, anyone have any ideas on how to get them to work? Other than that its a good hack, havn't got a hang of the chams and skin hack yet? how do they work. like I was on terrorist and I saw the ct, he was blue, but he was in my vision, I suppose if he was not in my vision he would be a different color eh?

Yes I have the ******* version. And our cards share the same chipset. Since you're getting injection failed it's not the mat_dxlevel 80 command.

It fails for me sometimes too if I start the hack at the wrong time. I'm not sure, exactly when I do it...since sometimes after the MS-DOS window loads and I click start, it sometimes errors.

I've noticed this though, perhaps the same with you. If I start the hack before CS:S loads it says injection failed and CS:S doesn't load whatsoever, does that happen with you? If so, then hopefully by you just clicking start at random times like I do AFTER the DOS window comes up, it should work for you. Just keep trying and I'm sure one time you'll get it to work.

No flash seems to only work for me a percentage of the time, so I think that's normal. As for chams, it basically means that every model is a greenish color, once they are in sight that greenish color changes colors according to CT/T.

All you people that say the menu doesn't show up, it's becuase you probably have a 800x600 playing resolution. What you need to do is open up the Config.ini file and adjust the Menu X / Menu Y CVARs :)

as far as i've gotten by clicking start multiple times is injection successful... with the ms dos prompt sitting idle forever... the game doesn't load.. i've tried all the above "fixes" and they did not work.

ok.. i may have gotten it working.. the problem wasn't with the hack at all i dont believe.. my config keeps overwriting itself.. so when i change dx level and my video options.. it keeps going to dx 70... so i change it to dx 80 by manually changing it in the config.. but then it changes all my video settings..

is there a way to save my config from console.. so i can change settings.. then save my config.

If editing cstrike/cfg/config.cfg continues to go back to the old configuration then check to see if you have a userconfig.cfg if not, make one and put it in cstrike/cfg/ with the DX console command.

No sky makes the sky black, I believe it makes FPS a lot higher? No scope disables the black on the zoom of the sniper rifles. So your view span is a lot more. Not sure what no fog is.

If it worked before and it doesn't work now, I gurantee CS:S changed your DX back to the default. Check it, to see if it's DX8. If not then follow the config thing I said to do so it stays at DX8.

Read a page or two back, I explained to a person to add the DX8.0 command to config.cfg and if that doesn't save then add it to userconfig.cfg. I'm not getting into detail as I've detailed it twice or so now in this thread.

what you mean, i havent custom my css models at all and switching back to the normals one, does that mean like using the skins of Cs 1.6 or sumting

cvar's generally alter how the game is displayed on your screen...

Copy these 2 cfg files into your driveletter:\Counterstrike folder here\cstrike\cfg folder and you'll see how they effect the game... :devious:

Start Internet Explorer... Click on Tools at the top, then click on Windows Update. Once there choose Custom Install and let it scan for the new updates. Next window will appear with 2 buttons on it, click on Review Other Updates and it should be there for you too select it. Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1.

I've put all the correct .dll files in my system32 folder, I've downloaded Framework (had it since before) and I've changed the ingame settings (graphical and mat_dxlevel).
First they didn't save so I made a config and userconfig file in both the installation folder aswell as in the "config" folder.
Which worked, the settings does save and load now.
However, the hack won't load.
Just says "Injection Failed!".
I have chosen "other" and typed "cstrike.exe" in the field and I've chosen my correct DX version which is 9.0c (even tried the other one and that didn't work either).
Could anyone please help me out??

ok here we go:

followed nfo to the letter, installed dll's in system32 directory, opened game, changed vid options, typed mat_dxlevel 80 into console and vid settings returned back to before. changed vid settings again. left game. put cfg into cfg folder in cstrike. checked cfg were correct. started hax, chose settings, started game, injection failed, game didnt load. started game, loaded hax, injection failed, game failed to load.

any help would be gratefully recieved thanks.

on reflection, i think with all the members like me who cant seem to get to grip with this problem, maybe some kind soul would post here EXACTLY from start to finish what they did to install and use this hax. all the folders they placed all their bits etc. this would help the noobs as well as the members who seem to be having differculties.

then those that found work-arounds to find solutions to getting the hax to work, please place your EXACT methos of installation from start to finish. this might help others who might not follow exactly what you have sadi in here earlier on. Those that changed their cfg's might also want to put them in here so people can see how you've changed them and why.

This hack isn't going to be affected by VALVe becuase the chance that VAC will be put up in the near future for CS:S is very slim. Secondly, this hack has no VAC evading measures becuase it wasn't needed since there is no VAC yet for CS:S. Don't worry about those SteamPowered people, they will have to just live with the fact that people play with hacks :)

I works for me and I got lucifer's cracked version of cs:s.

You just gotta click the start button after u have double clicked on the shortcut and if it dosent work just quit out of dos window loading a virtual steam and quit the hack then go back in and do the same thing again.

Downloading *******S version now, which is done in about 15min.
Hope that one works better.

For those having problems I'll post exactly what I did in hopes it works for them.

I did not install MS framework and I do not have MS framework, I did not move any of the dll files into the system folder either as programs will automatically load dlls in the local folder if they are needed.

I went into CS:S and changed the settings correctly. I noticed that the Direct X did not save to 8.0 it kept reverting back to 7.0, so I went into my cstrike/cfg/config.cfg and added mat_dxlevel 80 there. Loaded up CS:S and checked to see if the settings were correct, and they were.

Closed CS:S. loaded the hack and pressed 'start' then clicked the shortcut which points to hl2.exe -steam -console -game cstrike. I got "injection failed." And CS:S did not load, the DOS menu just stood there. I exited out of the DOS window.

Reclicked on the shortcut to CS:S and as soon as I saw "Engine Running" in the DOS window, I clicked 'start' on the hack and got "injection successful" then CS:S loaded up.

I have ******* version of CS:S. So hopefully this helps people with problems.

OMFG this is driving me nuts... that didn't work. I made the new config called userconfig.cfg which was just a copy of the original config with the mat_dxlevel "80" in it.. as well as the original config.cfg. I load the game.. it says dx 80... i exit the game. OMFG this is driving me nuts... that didn't work. I made the new config called userconfig.cfg which was just a copy of the original config with the mat_dxlevel "80" in it.. as well as the original config.cfg. Try puting mat_dxlevel "80" in the config.cfg or the userconfig.cfg and then setting that cfg file as "read only." Also, keep in mind the userconfig.cfg is to only add functions that config.cfg does not have. So in your userconfig.cfg only have mat_dxlevel "80" and not everything from config. Setting it to "read only" should work though.

i did exactly what you said... opened the game.. it said dx 80... closed the game.. opened it again.. back to dx 7.. jesus. Both files are read only...

is there anywhere in specific that that command should be located within the config. When i load up console it says that it's execing userconfig and config... then i get errors that it couldn't write config because it's read only.. so it couldnt write over it, but somehow it did.. wtf..lol

props for making this... but it's only good for nubs who dont know any better... it doesn't help a majority of us who have done all this stuff and still haven't gotten it working.


now about my dx 70 issue.. it seems to have stuck with dx80 now BUT... if i make any changes at all while in game.. it will go back to dx 80. But i still can't get the hack running.. something in the hack is not allowing the hl2.exe to run. I can open them in any order but if the hack is running.. the steam engine will not allow the hl2.exe to run even if the injection fails.. which is usually does until i press start about 8 times.

it has to be caused by the hack... because i load css.exe, the console comes up... i load the hack and click start... first it says injection failed.. but after a few clicks it says Process found... then it says injection successful. NOW.. with that said.. during this whole thing i had task manager running so i could watch the processes.. THE SECOND.. the injection is successful.. HL2.EXE is gone.. it shuts itself down. Something in the hack is causing hl2.exe not to run. wtf could it be.

But if I may say something, don't press start after you open the DOS window. What you need to do is configure all your settings and then press start. Don't click on your shortcut BEFORE you press start. And if you did it right, the exact moment the DOS window shows up, the injector should've injected the hack into hl2.exe. Why? Becuase when you click on the shortcut, it opens hl2.exe, but the reason why it doesnt start right away (opposed to the times when the DOS window was already open) is becuase it starts the steamengine file which logs into Steam and from there you play on legal servers.

If this doesn't work, then you set up your cracked CS:S wrong or your hl2 shortcut is wrong :)

But I wrote what I did step-by-step since, if my memory doesn't fail me, someone in this thread requested it.
It didn't load for me when I used luzifers CS:S version, but then I switched to ******* and it works great now.

I don't know what the problem for you is unfortunatley, but either way I'd (personally) delete everything and re-do it they way I described.
Sometimes there's some small step you've missed or something that just works when re-done (like someone else said "voodoo workarounds").
When I'm in similiar situations like you are right now I'm usually open to everything, so that's what I'd do.
But it's up to you!

Hope you'll solve it and get to enjoy the game as much as I have.
I've never played the real thing until now, got tempted when I read about this hack and I must admit, it's loads of fun now.

Plenty of people in here have successfully used this hax with sp2 so i dont believe it is just one thing that fails but various reasons. Following the nfo properly, system set-up, windows configuration etc etc .... for some it works fine, for others it wont work at all. there doesnt seem to be one reason why. too many different work-arounds atm. From what i've seen from those that it works for, it looks like a great hax. just jealous i cant get mine to work even after all the help i've recieved.

Alex_D, that problem is someone crashing the server (the %n exploit). Also, make sure you don't have any colored models installed and that you have the original models that came with your download. Secondly, make sure your settings are all scaled down to what it said in the readme and have your DX set to 8.0 (mat_dxlevel 80)

Actually it's not really a problem as I know how to "fix" it.
I can only use the IcT exe file once, the next time when I try to use it nothing happens.
Meaning; I double-click on it but it doesn't open anything.
So I have to extract a "new" IcT exe file to my Source folder whenever I want to play again.
Not a big problem, but worth mentioning.
Guessing it's my computer though. :)


EDIT #2: to parseFloat: It actually doesn't inject for me if I press "Start!" before I load CS:S (the "DOS" window).
Don't think it'll help you in any way but.. well, now it's said. :)

If the radar is on flashes work, if you turn the radar back to being off, then the flashes do not work.

So if you wanted a radar, what I did was bindtoggle mouse3 cl_radartype 1. So once I get flashed I turn my radar off with mouse3 and the flash instantly goes away....then a few seconds later press mouse3 again and I get my radar back. :)

hi, i just reformated my computer last night, so i reinstalled everything Including netframe work 1.1 for sp1, now ive got this hax, and i swear i have done EVERYTHING in the world to try to fix this. I put the DLL's in my System 32 folder AND in the local folder too. ive set up cs right (empiro version) and i can play the game fine with out it. But when i go into the hax, i set up what i want and hit start. Then i go into my shortcut for CS which loads the steam engine and the game. Then i get Injection Faild.. If you follow the instructions to the letter and utilise it as suggested in the material that comes with it, it will work.

I have played with cracked css on a friends machine with the same hack, whilst he was on sp1, then after he upgraded to sp2 it continued to work.

Mainly because we "followed the instructions"

readme.txt is not called that because the dev. wants you to ignore it.

can i use 1600*1200 resolution on this hack,caus i read that i have to set it already in low details :s



already tested it on 1600*1200 , works great, nice wallhack with the colored models , it ownz really, who needs an aimbot :p
