do u think a tut should be 100% noob proof,

or should it only guide and not spoon feed?

plz do answer honestly,

I chose the wrong one, dammnit, but I think it shouldn't be 100 % noob proof because you have to go out of your way to learn something, not given it handed to you.

i say make it 100% so u dont get as many dumb questions and so they understand what
they are doing...but make sure its not a copy and paste tutorial if its for coding something
but be sure that u explain what everything does

I agree with snowcat on this one, a guide, or tutorial, should be as what they are meant to be, guiding the users and tutoring them. Not spelling everything out for them.
They have to understand it themself to actually fully understand it, get what I mean?

You'll get those questions anyway lol, but anyway
It's your own choice:
A. Make a quick/simple tutorial and answer questions afterwards
B. Make a 100% tutorial and answer only a few n00bs afterwards :cheeky:

The positive side of a 100% tutorial is that people may also learn other things for it for example: You make a tutorial about how to create an aimbot in c++. If you write a 100% tutorial people may also learn some c++ skills :)

I would say you need to find that happy medium. You don't want to be to vague on certain things but really need clear specification on others. Overall I would say more guidance is definetely better then too little.

Unless you're old I wouldn't call me young. ;)

Maybe hes old?

Thanks Kland.

You learn a lot by just playing around, you find your own style and technique, and you get used to it, like photoshop and driving cars you know?
