InfraVision is now detected, what can I do?
Two main Cvars it checks for is the fog, and the model brightness (r_gamma).
But the other hacks make the screen go white...
So is there a way around this, other than the obvious?

I was just playing with InfraVision and I know many people that continue to play with it. As far as I know, it is still undetected.
Your problem lies in the cvar checks which are dependant upon servers. Only really picky server admins would check for these kinds of cvars, and if they do, they are excluding a lot of legit players.
I don't even see why you are evening talking about the cvar for fog, and model brightness has nothing to do with r_gamma which controls the brightness for everything if I remember correctly. /r_ignorehwgamma 1 is what I suggest setting to 1 in order to stop your desktop from being overly bright when you press the HOME key. That seems to be your problem. I can suggest three solutions:
1. Find settings within your video card's drivers to get rid of automatic brightness.
2. Don't play on a server that checks for /r_ignorehwgamma.
3. Type in /r_ignorehwgamma 0 to make the brightness come back. Write down all the toggles for InfraVision or memorize them. Turn them on without hiding the game window.
Maybe I will have time this weekend to add in a feature that gets rid of the brightness without using a cvar. I will let you know if I do. Or I could stop PB from scanning cvars entirely...
Unless you are getting kicked for GAMEHACK in the 8000's, my hack still is not detected. This is my last post of the night. I will answer any more questions tomorrow.
