Error Code -2147467259

My friend has this error code whenever he tries to play maple story. does anyone know why this occurs? i look on lots of different forums, but they all have the same problem with no solution. when i went on the official site, it said it was because my friend either has a virus,hacking, or macro program. we checked his computer, but he has none of those types of program. so does any1 know how to get rid of this error and get maple story to work again? :dead:

Its most likely a virus or something....have you tried spyware killers? and run a full scan?

Also try reinstalling it or reformat the computer (it saves alot of time if you dont have much on your computer)

Start>All Programs>Wizet>MapleStory>Setup. <-- try that...I just read one of the posts about the same problem

And do you have the required Direct X installed??

i tried everything that every1 told me to do, except about the reformating part. if i have no other option, then i'll try to convince my friend to reformat it. also, sum1 told me my friend might have to update his graphic card. how do you do that?

update graphic card!?!?!?
the most u can do is update the driver for the graphic card or the software the graphic card uses.. go to the the graphic card's manufatures webpage 2 get updates

try isntalling patches from Microsoft
or tell your friend to download .NET Framework 1.1 and the corresponding patch

thats what i meant lol. how do you find out the type of graphic card u have?
