Halo Invalid Message

Hey,

I downloaded Halo for PC (in a .ISO format, so i had to burn it on a disc) And it installed fine, but for some reason, im getting an Invalid CD key message when i try to join some servers. The wierd thing is it doesn't happen all the time for some reason. Does anyone have the answer to this?

*NOTE* I an NOT asking for any kind of CD key, etc or anything illegal in case you are wondering.

probably means someone else has whatever key your using and is already on that server

the problem will be that you downloaded it..

I know this thread is a little old, but the reason that happens on some and not others is because there are "cracked" servers where cd key is not validated

i guess you wont be able to play online then. Buy the original game, its not that much anymore. ; )
