Server IP BAN

The stupid mofos from my old clan decided to ban me from there CoD:UO Server, and now I can't get in.

I doubt i can use a proxy to get in so is there an easy fix??

I'm hoping there is cause they deserve some abuse!

P.S By the way Im guessing its an IP ban, and not guid.

Im not banned from any other servers.

ok this should be in the uo section, but anyways just change your ip by a proxy, it will most likely work

Off Topic: if they banned you, why do u wanna go back? If your out of the clan then your out, move on.

eh? I don't really understand.

How come discussing bans isnt allowed? i have numerous discusions regarding bans, and after all you guys do make and support online cheating.

Just seems a little odd.

if its a guid ban, youll need to buy a new game for the cd key. If its a hardware ban, you look the normal cod thread about it, its a sticky. But if its a hardware ban your probly never gonna play a punkbuster game again.

I'm pretty sure its not a Hardware ban as I wasnt banned by PunkBuster, and I have no problems with any other servers.

I'm going to look into this GUID stuff, because I do have spare keys for UO, but Im not wasting them in there just to get banned again.

However, I am convinced there must be a way around it, if/when I do find the way to solve this issue I will post details.

I will try and make a small proggy to change or spoof GUID and MPC will be the first to have it.

if you had a GUID ban, you wouldnt be playing in most servers, you must just have a ip address ban, which is easily changed

Ok, sorry to drag this post on, but what is the simple fix for it?

I have tried proxy but it is running really slow, is there a simpler way?

And lastly, does a server admin have to have good reason to ban GUID? and can they do it?

A server admin can ban anyone's GUID or IP for whatever reason they want to. In order to ban you from a wide range of servers, they'd have to have proof that you were cheating (a screenshot, and in some cases, a demo). Screenshots suffice as proof to be added to the MBL (Master Ban List), or sent in to Even Balance.

Actually that isnt entirely accurate... I beat the hardware ban, and so have others, there are wonderfull thredz about how 2 unban a hardware ban, just look. Altho, it isnt suggested that everyone do this, some ppl have a hard tyme doin it and screw up their net connection or pc... be carefull :D
