Bot commands are bot_*. If you want to add them use bot_add, bot_add_ct and bot_add_t. If you want to make them work in a custom map use nav_generate. If you want to know shit like this learn how to use Google.

wen i type bot_add or any of the bot commands....an error comes up saying error loading createbotO or sumfin....

any1 know a way to solve hat?/ or is there just not ne bots in the retail source?

No there aren't.
At least, there might be, but nothing you can actually get right now. Cs source has no official bots out, but the hacked version is rumored to have some, albeit shitty, bots.

look, there are NO AVAILABLE BOTS at this time for those of us RESPECTABLE enough to go out and support the efforts of programmers. I do love cheating, and no-cd hacks (man I hate surfing through my notebook of cd's to find the game i want to play), but leeching games off of torrents and p2p networks is really cheap man. I know some of you have mega systems that cost almost a $1000 or more. So what's 49-55 bucks for a retail copy huh?

Those of you that have the bots made it aware to the rest of us how you obtained your HL2.

The rest of us are anxiously awaiting the bot release :)

um, so if you are hungry it's ok to steal bread? if you are poor and cannot afford software you obtain an illegal copy of it? I'm not saying that I'm better than anyone else here, richer or poorer, it's just that you got all whacked out when I mentioned that those who did not pay for their copy of half life were obvious. If you condone theft of services and the such, hey great for you. I hope you live a long happy life continuing on the path you are on. Just don't be mad at ME for going out and doing the right thing by purchasing a copy of the software. I'm not mad at YOU for standing up for thieves and pirates. *sigh* but as I said before and will say AGAIN, please keep this crap to private messages.

Try this to Auto Add bots for a listenserver..

create a text file, call it "listenserver.cfg"
and put it in: "X:\Counter Strike Source\cstrike\cfg"
(this will add two T's and 3 CT's)

its also illegal and not wanted on MPC, so any further mention of having an illegally obtained game or no-cd cracks will lead to warning points.

I dunno, I tired it with my copy of HL2, which is off the self. All I get is an error that it can't find the bots. Unless I did something wrong, just go to create server, set the settings, launch the game, exec listenserver.cfg, and nothing happens except I get errors. Can someone get more detailed about how you do this?

auralis..i understand that some countries in teh balkans and africa n all of those poverty stricken countries have very low disposable incomes and i respect ur views on that ..but i doubt very much thers a large demand for cs:source in ethiopia or albania, u also have to have a fast net and high to medium end pc to even play the game neway. and it has to be said people with those kind of machines are [/I]not[I] poverty stricken, just some lazy ass kid who cant b bummed to get a job.
