Unauthorized Server [Archive]

I know it is possible to play on unauthorized server, anyone know how to ?

u have to type the IP of the server into the game console instead of going thru gamespy

just open the game, hit the ` key (the key with the ~on it). this will open the game console. then type "start IPaddressHere" without quotes.

why do you need to play on unautorized servers...its free.
