Map Editor

Hi all,

I wonder if there is an easy to use map editor for beginners.
I downloaded the official editor but it confuses me and i dont know where to start or what to do.

Got some great ideas for a new map but now i am stuck !

Is there a good manual arround ?

Please help me out.
