cant update to 1.4

hi guys,
hope u can help me.
i just bought uo and wanted to install it, but when i wanted to update cod up tp 1.4, an error appears saying "pak0.pk3 isnt a valid bla bla and cannot be updated"
so fu** !! whats that ?? both games are original and after 5hours trying to install this bullsh** im really pissed off.
ah another error is that when i want to start cod itself it says "configure.csv" couldnt be found, however often i install it

P.S.: I deleted the whole cod about 5 times, please help me play the game

lol yeah i got that, just try reinstalling it making sure the discs are squeeky clean then try it.......presistence is the key i tried about 4 times before it worked lol
