Half life skins

I wanted to know if anyone has tried this , I have at least 50 different model skins for the first HL, does anyone know if these skins will still work for the HL2 Dm game ?

if you have source sdk open it and follow this SDK Reference Docs > scroll down until you see models > Porting goldsource content to source and then it should say at the top Porting HL1 models to Source
