damn....now that LUG has started a proposal drive on what to do to botters, us botters must also start tightening our belts to make sure that none of us will get banned...

GM's are just catching bots if they received reports if the player is bot.. player lang din ang kalaban ndi ang GM.. kc if they wipeout botters dun sa mga hotspots,malaking pera ang mawawala sa kanila,kc lahat naman ng botters dun sa mga hotspots eh niloloadan din kaya malabong mag wipeout sila. mas delikado pa nga mag bot dun sa mga place na konti ang bot,kc once na may nagtrip o nainggit tapos nireport ka, yari ka..

those gms in the thread are just GMs who have nothing better to do...

we botters are the ones paying for their salaries, they should be reminded of that. we are paying for more loads and playing for longer periods compared to regular players.

these GMs can be more productive if instead they will concentrate on the eradication of scammers and keylogger users in pRO. these thieves are the ones who are causing a lot of people to stop playing RO.

do you know what's going to happen if they ban all botters in pRO ? they will lose probably 85% of their loyal players...

at midnight, just visit any dungeon where rares are dropped. try to talk to the players and you'll find out that the majority of these characters are bots. can you find a regular player wasting his time and money 24/7 leveling up in the middle of the night ? no, only bots can do that, bots allow these players to level up while still able to do their jobs and concentrate on their studies. if they stop all botters, they will lose 95% of the players who do their leveling during the night...

and what's with the punishment that they are proposing... for chrissakes, this is just a game. don't they have anything better to do in the office ? why don't they concentrate on giving better service to the players instead of harassing the players who are paying for their loads so they can level up and hunt rares.

one thing that they can work on is fixing their website. a few months back my char was banned for a week because somebody reported that the bot ksed him. when i tried to visit LUG's customer support to air my side, guess what, i could not access the page because of an error. for an entire week i tried to access the customer support page but no luck...

all these talk of banning all botters are just that, all talk. LUG cannot afford to lose all the revenue they get from botters. ban all the botters and a month after these GMs will be walking the street looking for a job...

of course, it's just me...

This just came from my head, most bots are being run in internet cafes. based upon the fact that the only way that LUG can prevent botting is to shut down any cafes that has bots running in it, they can't. since they will probably lose millions because of that...

anyway, i think they don't care whether they lose too much MONEY. maybe all they want is to level the playing field, i mean, common, its already leveled...bots are not third-party programs, right? since they are still controlled in a way that they are like being played by ordinary players. although, they run 24/7 nonstop, a thing that ordinary players cant do...

bot hunters do exist if there are some bots... why not make all of them bot... thats a reason why forums like this exist, to promote things we are talking bout....

parang DIABLO game yan.... 1 city lang ang may lamang tao, the rest puro monsters.... a fraction are bot hunters and the rest of midgard, well, artifical intelligence...

the essence of bot go with those persons na nag chaos, loki, iris, odin, fenrir so and so forth creating new chars having them reached 90+ and still walang gamit... i dont rely on bot for lvl since human players are better... i rely them for rares and equips

it's wrong for LUG to keep harvesting the players hard earned money in exchange for:

bad customer service
non-functional web support
slow connection
long down-times during patches and mantenance

they say that the social part of the game should be emphasized, un pala eh, why not setup the highest exp and item drops so that players can spend their time interacting instead of wasting their time leveling up and searching for rares.

if items are easily hunted then people will lose the motivation to bot. why bot when even by just manually playing for an hour you can now get the rarest items and level up your char in no time.

by making it hard for people to get rares and reach higher levels you are encouraging them to find easier ways to get what they want. actually, it's not really easy. yes, they get to level up faster and get more rares, but at what cost ? MONEY !!!!! botter players are spending a lot of time 24/7 and moolah (multiple accts) to get what they want...

botting equalizes everything... botters spend money in exchange for higher level up and more rares.

think about it, botters are providing food for your table and the much needed revenue for LUG. ban the bots and LUG won't be LUG anymore, it will be LUGi...

i don't think the GMs will really take that into mind... sila rin mawawalan... think about this, the goal of every company is to maximize their income... let's all admit that almost half of the players of pRO use bots... and if they ban that 50% they would not be able to maximize their income... sila rin baba ang sweldo and let's face it... the GMs would rather have people botting than them have lower paying jobs right?!? those people who proposed those punishments are those people who are envy because they don't know how to bot or that they don't have enough money to load for their bots... their just envy players that we have higher levels than they do and much more zenny as well...

this forum was made for us to help one another create better bots...bots that are hard to catch and bots made to perfection..

i think what you're saying is like an eye for an eye. they do bad service so you cheat the game right? i am glad there's botting and im happy about it, pero this is not a good explanation why they shouldn't remove botters. it's like your right eye from their left eye as far as i can see.
