Is HL 2 harder than HL 1?

HL 2 is WAY easier than HL 1.
HL 2 is WAY shorter than HL 1.

But then, HL 2 is WAY more fun than HL 1.

Still haven't played HL1:Source yet. That should be a blast. (Loved HL2)

Hell, I bet Half-Life: Source was better than Doom3. >:(

Doom3 has good graphics, but its game play is just shit. ****ing shit.
Not to mention pointless, theres nothing that makes me want to play Doom3, every ****ing mission is to team up with survivors and every ****ing time their dead when you get there. Just pointless waste of damn time. Could have been a good game too.....

first time i played HL1 the atmosphere it generated just blew me away. there were times when i was positively scared, you got sucked into the game. with HL2 there is no atmosphere, yes i was mildly shocked at some places, but nothing like the fear i felt with HL1. maybe i was expecting that HL2 with its fancy game engine and graphics would have an atmosphere of gameplay exceeding HL1, but nothing.

took about the same length of time to complete. only ever play these game on the hardest level, and the enemy AI was good, especially when trying to hide or sneak attack and they throw 'nades etc. the weaponary is fun, u gotta luv that grav gun.

I'm just waiting for the release of a few mods for HL2 like we had in HL1, thats where it will come into its own.
