What a bypass do? hide exeplorer.exe? protect it? dont let nprotect update?

Depends where the bypass is for.

Commenly bypassers allow to use a certain combination of programs that otherwise isnt avaible.Also these program can make sure for example you will not get kicked if ure detected for something,like the pbhack which is sadly enough rip :(
