Best FF !

K. I've played and completed most Final Fantasy's. And in my opinion its the best series of RPG's about. So i was wondering What everyone else thinks of it and which of course was there best episode. (BTW theres only 7 there due to the fact its the only ones available to buy for ps and the only ones i've played :P)

I personally found that 6/3 was better then the other ones but... I haven't played all the latest ones so...

Never played 3. got the rom though. G was ok But the FMv added to it was cool

square released ff 4 5 and 6 with added fmv for PS. Plus both only cost a tenner

ah I didn't know that, I only played the original SNES version not the PS version of it

i have ff 1,2,3 on Snes ROM's. But i really can't be bothered with them :(

I have 2,3 They're the story are good but not the Graphic.

yes the graphics are crappy but... the main thing is the story the gfx are only secondary

And don't forget, FF 2 (4) was what saved Squaresoft. Back in the day, Square almost went bankrupt from a buncha bad games.
Then FF1 (which i didn't like) boosted it a little, then they capped it off with FF2 (4)! And from that point on, Square has been going strong... I just wish they'd expand more into the computer market since me = poor and cheap to buy PS2

Based on Story, gameplay, graphics then addictability i'd really have to say FF7, then FF6. The rest i lost interest in completely especially FF8 which was the biggest waste of money ever. FF6 was truly a great game but was nothing compared to the masterpiece of FF7. FF7 was as good as it was because Square had to establish themselves on the playstation format and make a fantastic game to do that. FF7 in my opinion is one of, if not the best game i've ever played. Such a detailed and amazing storyline, the interface was top-class and i played and played it until a completed it, then i did it all again just for fun. Thats why it has my vote as the best FF game. :)

Im in the process of playing ff8 again. It is very sull surin ghte first 2 discs But pics up Later on. But the time compression storyline is just pish

Always wanted to know, what happens at the end of ff8? I was just before the final fight leveling up when i thought - bugger this, and did something stimulating. Is ff8 the one with the malboro monster on the small island that slaughters you with bad breath? Kept on lvl'n up on that island and picking up spells from the invisible springs and he kept on killin me.... Right err 2 questions
1. What happens at the end of ff8?
2. Did anyone ever manage to kill the Malboro monster?

The end basically see u defeat ultimecia. Ccan't say much more it may ruin for others but u go back ihn the past and meet matron and u have to choose which time u stay in.

The island i think ur talking about is island closest to heaven/hell And each monster there is lvl 100. i would have no chance probably with them unless i used sh1t loads of aura stones.I was only lvl 23 when i finished the game because i played cards for spells and weapons. (got the lionheart 2 hours into it)

lmao, at the end the screen is white and you see the orphanage? And they're all running around blurred, then they find out the truth i think, but i wont tell you what i remember about truth as it might spoil it. Can't remember doing it but i did complete it? Maybe i was so bored playing i daydreamed through the battle and woke up at ending. I was around level 85 as Squall when i was on the island and most my characters were around 60-80 if i can remember. Most of it is flooding back to me now. Was an alright game really, nowt special though. :bunny:

I think aquare sold there souls to sony sorry but i wouldn't doubt it if ffXI Is a big hit for onlineplay
