any evil hack Launched to black screen

any eh mod i use it opens AA in a black screen or a white stripped screen and i can't see anything, i can hear my mouse moving over the buttons and can hear clicking but i can't see anything. any ideas what could be causing this? my nvidia drivers are up2date and directx is current.

hmmm..
i dunno
what hacks were you using?
when you launch aa without hacks it launches aa normal?
if it doesn't:
try to run your cleaner maybe that works...
if that doesn't work maybe you have to reinstall
if it launched normal i dunno what could be the problem

i have tried trixnice, expander, dawgster, ganja.....etc......

yes .net framework is installed, all win updates are up2date (exception of journal viewer which has nothing to do with it).

i am stumped...lol

there is something wrong with your DirectX... run C:\WINDOWS\system32\dxdiag.exe

and see if any errors come up

yeah my m8 has this prob cant run any evil hack mods but can run anything else and is ok when not running any

direct3d was ok but when i ran direct draw test, the non-fullscreen tests ran fine but when it came to the first fullscreen test my screen blackedout and i ended up having to do a hard reboot. i will try and reinstall directx and see what happens.

ok i reinstalled directx and ran the tests again, they all passed this time, but i still get the same black screen when opening AAO
