echo

alias -r "-lookdown; -attack"
alias r12 "cl_pitchspeed 1.2"
alias r35 "cl_pitchspeed 3.5"

alias r2 "cl_pitchspeed 2"
alias r22 "cl_pitchspeed 2.2"

bind KP_RIGHTARROW "cl_pitchspeed 2.2; para"
bind 1 "slot1; rifr"
bind 2 "slot2; pisr"
bind mouse1 +r
cl_ragdoll_physics_enable 0
echo "num1=AK/Colt num2=OtherGuns num3=SMG num4=Pistol num5=AutoSniper num6=Para"
And paste it on a notepad, and call the notepad: ar.cfg!
Put ar.cfg in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\cfg.
Start Counter-Strike Source and press the tilde key(~), this will show you the console! Type exec ar.cfg and its done!
The line ''cl_ragdoll_physics_enable 0'' isn't for the recoil, but this will hide the dead body's, so your ''aimbot'' don't aim on the dead body's!
If you don't want this, delete the whole line!
Sorry for the bad language!

because cfg=config :)

i dont have cfg folder so is it possible its the config folder??
because cfg=config :)
Put this script in the /config folder and call it test.cfg
bind f11 "echo Hi! I'm located in the /config folder!"
Then put this in the /cfg folder and also name it test.cfg
bind f11 "echo Hi! I'm located in the /cfg folder!"
Now go ingame and and type:
exec test
Now, close the console and press f11. Look in the console what it says. Now you know where you need to place your scripts.
There are easier ways to figure this out, but hey, this is more fun. ;)
Edit:
Waaaaait a minute. I also have a /config folder, but that one is not in /cstrike.
The config files need to be in /cstrike/cfg. I think you forgot to go into that map.

The location of where you put it is here: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\yourusername\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg
the "yourusername" part you would put in your steam user name. If you still can't find it click start, then search, then search program files, then click valve then you're in your css directory (only do this if the first location I mentioned won't let you get into it.

Is this horndogs Anti-recoil CLEAN? Can I believe that cfg?
As clean as it gets. Cfg's can only mess with your ingame settings. Nothing more, but if you look at the script first, you can edit the bind before they overwrite some of your own.

hmm can someone place a bit of a faq?
i looked on the binds but there are couple
or doenst have to do anything? so it works together with my mouse 1 (fire button)
because the script says mouse1 +r so to use no recoil i need to press mouse1 and at the same time "R"?
so when i delete the "+r" i only need to press mouse1??

hmm i tried it and in game i did it in console and when i type exec ar.cfg it says could not start ar.cfg (tried to rename the file without any luck)
someone knows the solution???
Diddle
9th January 2005, 21:20
Yes, only type:
exec ar
Of course the file must be named ar.cfg, but don't type the .cfg in the console. Besides, as soon as you type exec in the console, it pops up a list of .cfg's located in the /cfg folder.

You can add the ".cfg" and it will still work.
"+r" is an alias for other commands. Check out the scripting section for more info.
Diddle
9th January 2005, 22:06
Ok, maybe this modified script works for you. It does for me, so the +r thing doesn't matter.
alias +r "+attack; +lookdown"
alias -r "-attack; -lookdown"
alias r025 "cl_pitchspeed 0.25"
alias r10 "cl_pitchspeed 1.0"
alias r12 "cl_pitchspeed 1.2"
alias r18 "cl_pitchspeed 1.8"
alias r22 "cl_pitchspeed 2.2"
alias r35 "cl_pitchspeed 3.5"
bind kp_end "r35; echo Anti Recoil Set to: AK-47!"
bind kp_downarrow "r18; echo Anti Recoil Set to: Other Guns!"
bind kp_pgdn "r12; echo Anti Recoil Set to: SMG's!"
bind kp_leftarrow "r10; echo Anti Recoil Set to: Pistols!"
bind kp_5 "r22; echo Anti Recoil Set to: M249 Para!"
bind kp_rightarrow "r025; echo Anti Recoil Set to: Autosniper Rifle!"
bind mouse1 "+r"
echo Use your numpad to select Anti Recoil for each weapon:
echo 1= AK-47
echo 2= Other Rifle's
echo 3= SMG's
echo 4= Pistols
echo 5= M249 Para
echo 6= Lame Autosnipe Rifle!
//Horndog's Simple Anti-Recoil Script
//Modified by Diddle: Explanation echo's and shortened the script by removing the 1 & 2 bindings. (If you only use scrollwheel to switch weapons)

Change the +r to something else, but it HAS to work. If not, sorry, but you're all doing something wrong! How can a script that works for someone not work for somebody else? Make SURE you place it in /cstrike/cfg and make SURE you call it ar.cfg

When you're in the /cfg folder, do the following:
Click Tools > Folder Options > View
Here, uncheck 'Hide extensions for known files types'.
Now press apply to all folders.
Next rename the .txt properly to .cfg. NOW put them in /cfg. It should work now.

$5 says your file name is ar.cfg.txt and you dont know it because you have show file extensions off in the folder options.

No recoil, or anti recoil, is not no spread.
It makes sure that you're weapon isn't going upwards, or at least counteracts that. No spread is that your bullets go right where you aim them.
Supern00b:)
11th January 2005, 01:12
yea is there a possible way to make a no spread that would be great lol

If you have not enabled file extensions then it will be "ar.cfg.txt" you won't see the .txt and to you it will look like .cfg.
Go into a folder then click Tools>>FolderOptions>>View>>Hidden Files And Folders
Make sure the box for Hide extensions for known types is unchecked.

The mere fact that the file is in the cfg folder should be enough-- I don't even have to type "exec ar" in order for it to load, it just loads automatically when I join a CS game. Thanks for the script guys, works nice.
Diddle

You'll have to select a weapon, because else cl_pitchspeed is at 255 and that makes you look down REAL fast.

I just figured out why some guys get the "couldn't exec ar" error message--
The ar.cfg file automatically executes when you join a new game and it creates 1 or 2 files in the /cfg folder . One is called "settings" and the other is called "user". You have to delete these files whenever you start a new map or the script won't work. After deleting those files, you just join the game again and ar.cfg will automatically load and start working again.
Peace, Udi
EDITED Look below, Diddle is right-- don't delete them! Sorry my bad- Udi

Nope, sorry, not true.
If you delete user.SCR, they DO have an extension, then try looking in Options > Advanced... The menu options there are GONE.
Settings.scr is there for server settings, look in create server and then options. GONE if you delete it and it won't put back the right ones, so do NOT, I repeat, do NOT delete those files.
Thank you for your time. :P
I'll upload mine here, so you can restore those settings. I also added some extra options such as 'Show ingame fps' and 'Show dead bodies'. They're simple console commands, but now you can activate them from options > advanced. :)
Oh, and don't be fooled by the .scr extention. It is NOT a screensaver and NOT a virus. Download it and open it with notepad and you'll see that it contains only ingame settings values.
