Not sure, I never played the first one and was blown away by the 2nd one.. I am going to play the original w/o source.

I started to play half-life : source after playing 2, and it is kinda boring, the graphics aren't nearly as good (due to the age), but hl2 is amazing, just like gsg said.

yeah, the graphics look almost the same as HL1 in HL:S.
would be nice if ValvE added an extra level or something

so glad i never wasted me money on HL:S then :) they really should give away free as a patch to legit owners of HL. i personally hate the fact i'd have to pay an extra £5-10 for HL:S.
