ice/fire/cleric?

I've noticed alot of strong monsters are weak by holy attacks so im thinking of making a cleric but im not sure need a 2nd thought

You forgot a few classes of mages, like poison mage.....

a fire mage is a posion mage and a ice mage is a lightning mage

as stated above, fire = major dmg

I agree.. Fire will be stronger in the later part of the game as the last map is ice map...so for a Stronger mage will be fire mage...haha tads wad many ppl tell mi...lOlz

yea cleric is good cause he can kll hanging on a rope. Partys want cleric for them to heal them... They never usa hp pots.. but almost all high lvled clerics are botters... So if u r lvl 50 cleric ppl wont care cause there r lvl 80 clerics but if u r lvl 50 ice wiz or fire wiz that way no one really knows u botted cause there is no really good place to bot for fire or lightning. :devious:

hmm...i picked ligthening... from what i see... lightening mages can usually hunt monsters the are low to mid lvls

yeah, lightning mages are real good at helping low level guys to level up. i got leveled up from 8 to 12 in a short time cuz this guy with a lightning mage took me to a place with a bunch of green slimes and killed them all repeatedly. They kept on spawning and he kept on killing. I was running around trying not to get killed, and picking up a lot of mesos lol

Well I'm deciding whether to be a fire/poision or ice/lightning mostly. I want to be a clerics because of heal but I just thought that if you get alot of mesos with lightning then it wouldn't be that much for buying healing potions but I would also want fire because they do high damage and I'm addicted to high damage.

i would go for cleric, they have heal and thats real good in a party....
then again if you train with friends and there is already a cleric there i would go with either fire or ice... having a party with all 3 mage classes is the best thing youl ever see, that party would be unstoppable ... add an assassin with haste +9 and you got a set of killing machines... lol either way tis your choice ... good luck

woah its goin off topic pplz... i like cleric cuz u heal and then every single undead monsta get scrwed... its really good when ur high lvl, so u can deal more dmg in 1 heal. i agree the later part of map is ice... but it take a ton of mp for fires cuz those ice mostas got a sh!t load of hp

Mmmm goood point... But really Clerics are awsome for there healing and a good attack , Holy arrow.
Fire Mages are good because of Strength but Poison sucks.
Ice mages have Lighting which is totaly awsome as you can hit all enemies and can freeze enemies with Cold beam BUT they are the weakest mages.... At least thats what the webite says.... O.O

Okie i`ll analyse each mage for you guys

Fire/poison Mage:
Attack is strong, however its shot range is slightly shorter than magic claw and it cannot shoot through obstacle.
To be honest i really havent seen anyone used poison attack apart from me, percentage of success in poisoning is rather avg and the damage isnt really high and there is a time period as to how long the poison effect would last (your fire arrows would have killed quite a few even before you successfully poisoned anything)

ice/lightning mage :
Ice Beam damage wise is quite okay(you need rather high INT before you really see decent dmg around 200 INT), will freeze most things you use this attack upon(only ligator, cold eye, mushmom and balrog aren't affected from as far as i`ve tried), after you max it you should be able to kill fire boar in 1 hit. ( i can do as high as 2000+ on fire boar )

Lightning really very weak initially until you nearly max it. Despite its weak attack, it can attack up to 6 within the range of half screen to either side of your character. (You might need to match this ability with teleport, teleport while u cast lightning, or jump while u do it)
Slime, lorang and clangs are weak against lightning(which means u do 1.5 times more dmg to them than usual)

Cleric :
Heal can do multiple attacks like lightning, and it does more dmg, however to undeads only. But the heal ability is nevertheless very useful alone.
Invincible reduces weapon damage received but not magic damage meaning upon bumping into creature you take less dmg but not getting attack by magic(Best example, try provoking a tauromarcis into attacking you)

Bless is a party ability, boost party wdef, mdef, accuracy and avoidbility. However it will negate all effects to your other abilities and potion effects

Reason to using holy arrows to magic claw when fighting higher level creatures, claw damage is reduce greatly while holy arrows does its usual damage.
Effective against malady, dark stone golem, undead lupins and mushrooms, wraiths in the basements of kerning

MP eater is only useful after lvl 50

i have a fire mage at lvl 39 and it can kill drakes in 4 hits cold eye in 2 deals around 1400 dmg to cold eyes.. fire is the way to go unless u want to hunt mushrooms til ur lvl 60 for lightning, fire does double the lightning's dmg.. clerics only good for heal, and heals only food for undead shrooms and lupins ^_^.. FIRE IS THE WAY TO GO

its over looked but the armor on the higher level monsters will nullify ur attacks , ice is also good.. deals around 80% of fire's dmg..but freezes nice choice also

OK well i'm only 19 so i have like........5 days untill i need to choose if i keep botting but i think i gonna choose cleric, everyone does.
Question: how don't ppl fall down to the snails floor in training grounds near henesys??? thats really annoying, i need to bot on snails :mad: :mad: :mad:

I still think cleric is better u kno y cuz u dont use all ur abbilty like poison and the invec shiet watever u call it....If u want to use all ur abbilty go for cleric u will really enjoy it... IT dont matter about the attack and how muhc it attack when u run out of mp That ur AZZ u better run and go charge up but u dont have to when cleric it use less mp than ice and fire....So u should go for Cleric!!!!!!!!
