How to win with mass huntresses and how to defend mass huntresses

To Rush:

If you want to win with mass hunts...u must RUSH VERY EARLY IN THE GAME

and go straight for the farms

after a few farms are taken out...go for the enemy units...then bring it reinforcements *hero...other hunts, archers....* and finish them off

i wuz able to take out a few people 1 on 1 within the first 10 minutes because of this..but MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BACKUP because the enemy units may be creeping with the hero and they might have the town of portal scroll...so be careful

To Counter:

To counter mass hunts...if its early in the game...u must have units defending your base thats all i have to say

wut i do most of the time is place archers around my moonwells and activate auto heal on the wells

i also have a few huntresses in the front and my archers pick them off one by one


if they mass hunt u late in the game...u better have air units or long distance attackers

for me...the best way to defend against mass hunt is with orcs...have some headhunters and a few shaman with bloodlust...very deadly combo

Also, the counter really didn't work to well with me. So, i mainly rush, i think i need to get used to countering.

yea...lots of people complain about huntresses being WAY TOO strong with their bouncing glaive attack....for me i counter with air units *hunts cant attack air* if u dont like air u should counter them with mass hunts u should really use hot keys too
dont let ur units attack just 1 person you should have some attacking different units at a time

all you have to do really is mass hunt them late in the game....if they actually kill you

save the replay and review wut they did to beat your hunts...then take their strategy into consideration and use it as one of your own
it should work...

actually im not all that good...i lost alot of battles but strats help me out alot

i usually team up 2 v 2 with a teammate...*sakra*
i lose a lot of 1 v 1's cuz the other person usually rushes and lvl's up faster den i do but yea im still in the learning stages

i hope i'll get a maphack for posting this strat here :)))
( i am german, so don't expect good english )

make always sure you have 2 peons being build until you have 6 peons done
okay put 4 peons to gold
1 builds the altar
the first peons which comes out goes to build a "house"
the second one goes to get lumber and to that time put a peon from gold away to get lumber too
so now you should have 3 to get gold and two to get lumber
when you have 70 lumber take a peon from lumber and let him build a war factory.
the next two peons that come out go to get gold
the other peons get lumber ( the two that build the altar and the "house" also )
so until now you should have five peons getting gold and 5 getting lumber and one build the war factory.
get the blademaster or the far seer.
when you have 50 lumber again, build another "house".
build a grunt.
upgrade the main building. go creeping and make sure you always have a grunt in build. through creeping you should have enough money to build the war mill. after the mill build onw watch tower.
after the main building ist upgraded, go build the building where you can get the shamans.
and upgarde the main building again to fortress.
through good creeping you should be able to have enough money for all this.
you should have a hero now, many grunts and shamans which can cast bloodlust now.
when you play against an undead player always get two catas so you can attack their ziggarots.
when you like to you can build a tauren building too ( but not neccessary ).
if you do all this proper you will never have probelms with money or lumber at the beginning of the game and in the game and will always have a maximum armee.
start creeping in the middle and after that go to the goblin houses and creep there too. creep as much as you can and try not to loose a grunt.

#1 People have to memorize them

all people need are unit strats and to know their strength/weaknesses of units
