well boys and girls there pp out to take all the fun away from us.
you need to read this.....
It has been recently resolved by The Devil's Brigade as a clan to define and communicate our stance on the rising issue of cheating. We as a clan have always prided ourselves as a clan of honour, respect and sportsmanship. We are deeply disturbed by the recent tensions arising in the Medal of Honor community surrounding accusations of cheating. After extensive research and discussion, The Devil's Brigade has decided to assume a leading role in the fight against cheating, hacking and general abuse of a great game and a great community.
We acknowledge that cheating is abhorred by the overwhelming majority of clans within the community and we wish to call upon support to fight this black mark on our community. The most significant step in fighting the proliferation of tensions is to call an immediate cessation of accusations amongst clans. Accusations, true or false, only serve to highten tension and inflame emotions. What is required is considered, thoughtful action, not insults and broken friendships. Within the public sphere we should conduct ourselves in the manner which we would like to be treated ourselves: with respect, honour, trust and friendship.
We have contacted you as the posted leader(s) of OGL Objective ladder. We sincerely hope that you can appreciate our efforts and provide us with much needed support and help. Currently, our records indicate you have 25 members registered on OGL. Our goal in this first phase is to gain the support of the top half of the clans on the OGL and is aimed at over 800 members. If you could please circulate this memo on your forums, and then indicate to us whether we can count on the support. As the number of clans willing to make a stand against cheating rises, it is our hope that EA Games, as the developer of Medal of Honor, will step forward and begin to address this issue.
Our current plans include compiling a list of clans supporting a call to action for OGL, TWL and, of course, EA Games. The Devils Brigade is hoping that XXXXXXX Clan will sign on to support the following statement:
We, the undersigned Medal of Honor gaming clans, call upon Electronic Arts to address and discuss publicly the issue of cheating and hacking which is threatening the online Medal of Honor community. By entering into dialogue with the community and the various leagues on the internet, we hope that Electronic Arts can provide us with some security, reassurance and solutions to this issue.
Please reply to this message indicating the support of your clan membership for this initiative. I will respond shortly with a detail of further plans to establish communications between our clans on this issue, exchange the latest information on the hacking front, and strategies to bring pressure through the appropriate channels. If you choose not to support these efforts, please reply with a brief explanation of your concerns or questions so that we can try to accommodate as many divergent interests as possible.
