scrips?

hi, i was wonding what scrips were and what they did. from what i have gathered it's something you type in the console... but can you do this in any game or do you have to be the admin? and what kinda scripts can you get (that will help in game play) lol.
I heard there was a scrip for 0 recoil on the sniper rifle or somethign or maybe i mishead but if there is post it i would love it :lick: :glasses:

in a nutshell:

a script is usually a set of command and/or keybinds, that usually automate some process
q3-based scripts are saved as .cfg files, and are either called from the autoexec.cfg or by a keybind
