I have finished the Half-Life 2 LDK.
Everyone that either can't or dosent want to download the 200mb SDK can now modify Half-Life 2 with ease using the small 105kb Half-Life 2 LDK!
This is the first release, there will be updates in the near future. Till then, please enjoy this fine program. :)

Uhh isn't this warez? I don't know exactly what it is, but I'm of the understanding that the "LDK" is the actual sdk, but hacked.

Pizalot, thank you for the good feed back I am glad that my hours of work did not go to waste. :D
VoN DuTch, I can assure you that my programs are completely safe. :)
Vegetable no not really, why do you ask?
(I chose to replace S in SDK with L for two reasons, first because its sort of like a 'light' version of the SDK and because L is the first letter of my alias. :P)

Ahh I see, it looks more like a trainer than a developers kit.

SDK = Software Development Kit
Got mine from Steam. Gonna try and learn how to make client hooks.

so its basically a trainer?

No its nothing like a trainer, this compiles modified configuration files that do not overwrite existing configuration files. This can be used to make mods for Half-Life 2.

Yeah, this isn't a developers kit, this is a trainer. Might want to change that, because it's definitely not an alternative to the sdk, which allows you to edit maps, edit face choreography, and write script. All this does is change certain parameters in the game, like a normal trainer would do.

I have updated the LDK for people who had exit problems.

Mind editing the title? It's not an alternative to the SDK. At all.

^^What he said.
Don't want to be mean or anything... but it's definitely not an "alternative".
