well my opinion is completely different my XP hasn't crashed in 3+ months already when I installed ME I only kept it for 2 weeks before going back to win2k basically because it crashed every 3 hours

I completly agree in my Opinion WinXP is the best OS, I never had a problem with it, never crashed, nothing...Its the best one if u know what your doing...win ME sux..when i had it i couldn't stand it every 5 minutes i'd get a blue screen of death and i'd have to reboot for a billion things, with winXP i leave the comp on for 3 weeks with no problems and i restart everything 3 weeks...my Windows XP computer has only been shut down once in 2 months, the rest of the time it was On...

I've always hated the MAC OS, but thats just me. As for XP, I use it and it provides the stability of Win2k somewhat, and its very versatile for using with games as opposed to Win2k. But I cant down Win2k cause it's as good as XP if not better, but its primary use is for business. If im not mistaken they both use the NT kernel. So in the aspect of stability they're pretty much identical.

When i finally decided to get Win XP, Win ME was crashing every 10 minutes like clockwork. Win XP Prof. has yet to crash even once in 4 weeks!

Hello Hebe......Does XP work better on high power computer or does it make a difference, I know it uses alot of hd space but does it need alot of ram to work like it should ?

XP imo is the worst... Well i loved it for about 2 months... then things started to suck... ive been using win2k forever and there really isnt a difference whatsoever... its a lot faster cuz it doesnt have any of the extra graphics options... and it has the same support that winXP has now i think...

win xp is excellent, if you disable all the graphics shit, and use ntfs

I use fat and I have all the graphics enabled and it's still the fastest windows OS that I've ever had (maybe of course it's just the PC not the OS itself)

eh im going with what works really... i like 2k... it rarely crashes like XP, but this one has a faster internet IMO

NT systems are stable, XP systems are just trash, along with ME..
95 is pretty bad too. and behind that is 98

The best Operating systems are:

Samba ( Linux )
FREEBSD ( Linux )
Mandrake ( Linux )
Windows 2000 Pro/Advanced server

Anything Linux has to be the best, chiefly because it's free.
XP not stable? It's just as stable as my linux server, except it's more annoying. I think I've only crashed 2x so far, once due to a graphics driver tweak caused glitch, another caused by an extremely horrible audio loop I made myself. Bleh. XP is what windows should have been in the first place.. for people who think Windows XP sucks, can ya post some reasons so I can argue with you? :)

I'd say that Windows 95 is the absolutely worst operating system ever designed.

since i've used OS's from 95 to XP, i have to say XP is best and 95-ME worst :)
