bloodless Cvar PRoblem.....

ok...the version of the game i has no blood....or there is a parental lock on it already set...(how strange)
Ok i installed the game and i am on the first level...and i run around and start shooting people and...NO BLood...ok i Bought this game for the gore...so i did some research in my console and i found this nasty little cvar that says bloodless 1...and i tryed to change it...and it says its read only...so i go out of the game and put -set bloodless 0...and NOthing happened...i need some help on how to get it set to 0...so i can see the gore.....

if u installate it itl ask
if u want no gore
costum gore
or full
choose full
then you will be asked if u wanto put n a password just leave it blank and typ enter

i cant reinstall it, my friend has my cd now is there no way to change a read only console command??

ok i did that hash thing and it gave the bloodless cvar a value of 23483 whatever that means.....and i see blood now, but no chunks but the only 2 weapons i have used are the pistol and the .45 acp machine gun...do these dismember bodie parts or just cause blood normally...all i see is blood, i guess its better than nothing :(

ok...i just sv_cheated some guns in and using the shotgun i see chunks everywhere...thats great!...thanks alot man, i was just about to un install it
