| Preamble:
If someone would ask Valve which bugs they fixed in 1.1.0.9, they wouldn't have much to say. I'm starting to think they don't want that cheats disappear from their games.
Anyways, the spectator bug (for those who don't know) makes it possible to fly around, through walls, like a spectator, but being actually alive. So you can kill people, capture flags etc etc...
Valve has not fixed the whole spectator bug, they just restricted it a bit, so you can't use a weapon now. Grenades work fine though ;)
| Description:
If you want to exploit this bug, you have to make a bind like that (use console):
bind "v" "kill;jointeam 1;hwguy;kill;jointeam 2;hwguy;kill;spectate"
But wait, it is now a bit harder to get into specbug-mode. It won't work by just pressing the bound key ("v" in our example) one time. Here's what you should do:
Go into spectator mode
Switch to free-look mode
Join a team and choose a class
Open console and type: +attack
Press the bound key once
If you don't see a class-selection screen, press it again
On the class-selection, choose which class you want to be later as spectator
Press the bound key again
If you are a spectator now, look at scores to see if there's a class standing behind your name.
If yes, it worked and you should move into a wall as fast as possible because both teams can kill you now
If you can't see a class behind your name, repeat points 5 through 9
If you successfully exploited it, you can type -attack in console and then you should type jointeam 1 or jointeam 2 so you are a proper player. You can now throw grenades to kill others and sentry guns and capture flags.
But unfortunately, you can't use a weapon. That's the only thing Valve fixed in it.
| More Fun:
You can perfectly use this bug to annoy people by using the first-person mode to beam yourself into other players so they can't move, for example. Sometimes if you do that, the player you are beamed into will be pushed higher and higher until he is touching the sky.
If you now leave his body, he will fall all the way down to his death which is even more fun!
In dustbowl, you can cap the last flag to end the game before it started...
Well... experiment, explore and have fun with this bug! ;D

I tried the hack, sometimes it works and sometimes dont... anyone know whats the problem?
