what is interpolate exactly? what does it do? i downloaded it but it was confusing...max and min prediction and warp ticks..what is that...and does it work through DT? THX

pretty sure it wont. also know thats widely regarded as a cheat and can probably get you kicked from servers.

that said, interpolation is the client side "smoothing" of player/item/weapon projectile positions between server updates. the server tells your client where something is, and between that time and the next time the server tells your client where something is, your client takes over and predicts where that object will be when the next server update comes in.

what the interp script does is gives the user control (control they wouldnt normaly have, often a sign of a cheat) over the client-side prediction. if you turn it down, players/objects will be more choppy/jittery on your screen, but they will also be more accurate to where the server actually says they are. the same can also be true for turning up to high, the client predicts too much, and gets out of sync with the server, and you have stuff "lag-warping" around your screen.

tribes2 has great netcode as is. if it aint broke, dont fix it.

well this is a cheaters site...what are some good settings for it?..i prolly wont use it that much cause i usually rund DT...btw where is that DT hack.. :ermm:
