Frames Per Second.. lower the better?

if i type com_maxfps 30 .... i would get no higher than 30 fps ..... but if i type com_maxfps 200 i get the maximum ammount of frames per second i can in the server..... when i change form 200 to 30 ... 30 seems like i am jumping faster is this correct?

no, it appears jerky, you are not jumping further. IF you want a slight jumping increase emphasis on SLIGHT. lock fps to one of these.
it must be getting it constant

if ur pc is to weak to get 43 76 or 125 fps but u still want to get a little advantage

pmove_fixed 1 in console it will simulate the fps so that ur game thinks u have 125 fps

but this comand is a little bit "buggy" so find out if u really need it or not or just buy a better pc =P

hm ok.... u know when your strafeing well isnt there a command u can type like pmove.... and something else which makes your legs not bend when u jump so u dont use much force..?

make a demo of u while u strafejump and then watch it

u will notice that ur legs don t move when u jump

so in game while ur jumping u see your legs moving but in fact they don t move

well i heard that alot of old players prefer to play at like 25 fps... even if they have amazing computers / no lagg ... they just prefer it for some reason ... i wonder why ?
