Goin Online with Cracked AOE2

Does anybody know if some how a cracked (no need for cd to play) AOE2 can play on the net? I tried it but it says that its not installed on my system which is expected cause you dont need to install with the cracked AOE2.

No.. you'll either have to edit the registry and make your OS think it's installed, or get another *full* version of it. I have the full game.. and I play with No CD.. http://www.megagames.com

I'm not even sure how you'd go about editing the registry.. I thought Megagames supplied a crack for exactly what you are after.. but I'm mistaken. Must be another game or something.
